Christmas cards by Titbelsoeur

This is time to make our Christmas cards. There are many beautiful stamps in our Christmas cards folder here. For the occasion, I have made square cards. They are super-easy to make so you can make a bunch of them in one go, and still have some variation in them.
I have first divided a A4 watercolour sheet by 12 squares and stamped a Season's greetings from Mini Christmas 1 or Christmas Greetings # 1 A5 with black ink on each of them :

Once dried, I have stamped Happy new year! from Christmas Greetings # 2 A5 with water-based ink such as Distress everywhere on the page with various colours from blue to red :

Added a snowflake from Modern Christmas # 1 A5 on each, then cut out the squares and inked the edges, glue each one on to their card, et voilĂ  !

I hope these cards give you inspiration to participate in our

for 3 chances to win some of these fabulous
Artistic Samper stamps !
Thank you so much for stopping by.

A gold embossed snowflake background, and lots of baubles from CaroLines Bauble set ( think there might be a theme on this blogpost!) gold embossed , and simply coloured using only 3 colours of Distress Oxide

Coasters or door hanger ? by Titbelsoeur

Hello dearies ! This is the time to prepare our Christmas decoration and the best way to make these is to use the fabulous Artistic Stamper Christmas Stamps. I have used old CDs that I have covered with inked and stamped drawing paper.
I have just torn a piece of paper to make a cache for a snowy landscape I have inked with water-based inks such as Distress, stamped the tiny firs from the Christmas Greetings # 1 A5 plate, then sticked the image to the CD and cut it out. Either punch a little hole at the top of it for a hanger, or just place it on the table for a coaster.
Whatever choice, here it is :

Greeting cards by Titbelsoeur

Hello Happy Stampers !
To make these greeting cards, I have first  glued some pieces of books or magazines to a drawing paper. A slight coat of gesso with a credit card, and I added acrylic paint with my fingers :

I stamped dots and circles from Decay Journaling Stamps #1 Decay Swirl Background  and Borders A5 2 with white acrylic, Calligraphic Mat 1 and Calligraphic Mat 13 with black Archival ink :

I cut the paper in pieces to fit my black cards and added "Season's Greetings" from Christmas Greetings # 1 and "Happy New Year" from Christmas Greetings # 2 . I highlighted the first one with a white pen, and the second one with white acrylic on the top to figure snow and black on the bottom to highlight.

Do not forget that you can win these fabulous stamps, just participating in our challenge

A little late - Debs

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all ready for Christmas, i am not quite there yet, as you may have guessed, getting behind with everything at the moment!!   Here is a seasonal journal page to help you feel a bit more Christmassy if you are not already!!

I had started this page some time ago, playing with some blue and white acrylic paints, it was crying out for something frosty looking.

I stamped the large snowflake from the jewelled snowflake set with versa mark and embossed with wow silver embossing powder.  I then stamped the new snowflake background stamp, with Picket Fence Distress Ink around the edge of the page.  Then stamped the Noel and Seasons Greetings from the Christmas Greeting #1 set with Black Archival.

The final part was to get out the silver and white gel pens.  I coloured the Noel and Seasons greetings with the silver and then added white on the tops of the letters to look like snow had settled on them.  then coloured the snowflakes in with the white pen.

Happy creating

Christmas Card by Debs

Hi  All

Here is a Christmas Card I made using a Gelli print, Jewelled Snowflake and Ornaments stamp plate and the Christmas Greeting #1 plate.

First I stamped and embossed the lightbulb onto plain white card and then stamped and embossed a large snowflake using Versamark Ink and Wow Silver Embossing Powder
Then I stamped and embossed the banner from the Borders #1 plate and the Swirl Background Open stamp.
I then cut all three elements out.

I found some silver twine and made some bows and stuck these to the lightbulbs.

I made a Gelli print using Brushed Pewter Distress Paint with a little bit of Broken China and did three or four pulls from the Gelli Plate.  Once they were dry I stamped the same large snowflake with White Linen Dylusions paint over the whole of one of the sheets in a random manner, ensuring that the snowflakes weren't too dominant i wanted a subtle effect so that the one in the lightbulb would stand out.
Apologies for the lack of photos at this point - Brain was obviously not in gear

I cut the card down to a DL size and also trimmed the gelli print and then mounted it onto a piece of card, distressed the edges and mounted onto the card with 3D tape, adding the banner before sticking down.
I Added one lightbulb directly to the paper and the other one with 3D tape overlapping slightly.
Thanks for Stopping By

Waiting for Christmas...

Hi there, this is Titbelsoeur today !
I love to use books for home deco, especially for Christmas. Do you remember my Nativity scene in a book from last year (here) ?

Here is a foretaste : little card, season's greetings from Christmas Greetings # 1 on a pinecone :

Then I divided my book on 3 thirds, stamped a Best wishes quote from the same Christmas Greetings # 1  set and glued it with a Christmas image on the last page of the 1st third :

then glued a Girl by Fireplace  card on the first page on the 3rd third of the book :

the 2nd third was folded to make a pine tree, you will see how I did it here (tried to find a short video for you), and here it is :

And, as a bonus, here is my last experiment of the year : how to embellish basic baubles with Artistic Stamper's stamps ?
Just stamping some snowflakes with white acrylic paint ! I am not very gifted at such practicals, but I couldn't resist to give you the idea !

I hope my experiments will inspire you and I am looking forward to reading your comments !

A Trio Of Christmas Tags

Hi hope you are all well, and have done all your Christmas prep! Craft work aside
I tend to be last minute dot com when it comes to Christmas.
Today I bring you three tags from the Artistic Stamper's
Christmas selection of stamps.
My products used are
Crafty notion guiding flakes in Autumn gold, craft card (mine is the back of a box of Pepsi packaging),
3 x tags, black card.

Firstly I coloured the three tags with blending wild honey, spiced marmalade &
aged mahogany distress ink onto the tags.

I then stamped the snowflakes and the merry christmas on to them with fired brick and chipped sapphire. I covered the tag in gloss multi medium and pressed them all against each
other to create a texture into the medium.

I then sprinkled glass beads onto them and also crafty notions guilding flakes, and allowed to dry
once dry I sprayed each tag with the delusions sprays and allowed to dry.

Tag 1
For this tag I used the snow flake stamp,  the season greetings from the Victorian 2,
and the little girl at the fireplace from the mini Christmas plate. I stamped them in
black archival onto craft card tags. The wooden snowflake coloured with distress
ink and coated in media crackle glaze. The top star was black fimo clay stamped with the bauble pattern and a star shaped cutter was used to cut it out, once baked it was highlighted with treasure gold.

Tag 2
Father Christmas of the mini Christmas 2 plate and the snowflake stamp.
Wooden snow flake same as above merry Christmas stamped into
black fimo clay baked and highlighted with treasure gold.

Tag 3
Same as above for snowflakes and stars stamps used were snowflake stamp, merry Christmas of the Christmas greetings and father Christmas of the Victorian Christmas plate 2. string on the tags was swiped with fired brick distress stains. All tags were glued on using my hot glue gun as had trouble fixing them on with other glues.
they were all attached with a mini attacher to the back of Pepsi packaging which had had the sides  treated with distressing blade and then finished with walnut stain distressing ink.

I have done it again I must try to make much simpler posts with less products. Thank for popping by
and don't forget to leave a comment or two.
Cheers Dee x

I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toooooes....

Christmas is all around me, and so the feeling groooooows....

This is Titbelsoeur today, showing you 2 Christmas cards.

I made the first one with paint on the gessoed background, and on the Numerical stamp. I stamped my home-made gate stamp with gesso and the snowflakes and Merry Christmas stamps with archival ink. Then I highlighted the words with a white pen.

I made this one on a gessoed background, again, but used alcohol inks. Mixed them and let dry. The next day, I let white paint run down from the top, then inked the pines and snowflakes with paint as well. Stamped the Seasons greetings with archival ink on a phone book page and highlighted the letters with a marker pen.

I hope my cards will inspire you and I am looking forward to reading your comments !
