Inspiration by Siobhan
I used a variety of The Artistic Stamper stamps and stencils to create this card, along with white embossing and distress oxides. The Kiki stamp by Neil Walker is one of my favourites. I stamped "Inspiration" onto tracing paper but didnt get a perfect image, so I flipped the paper over and added white signo pen behind the letters, an error which turned out fab, well I think so, in fact I shall be using it again.

Happy Birthday to me
Well guys...it is my birthday tomorrow...not that I want any more, but it is better than the alternative!!..lol. so I am gonna have a lovely day, quaffing champagne, being taken out wined and dined in my favourite restaurant, doesn't get any better than that for me.
So I suppose my looming birthday inspired me to actually make a birthday card!!. Boy oh boy, this card must have been the most frustrating card I have ever made, no matter what I did, what I threw on it, the inks just kept sinking into the card...grrrrrrr, could I heck make it more vibrant. I gessoed the back hoping that it would make the inks stay on the surface...nooooo....I must have wasted more ink, but I kept on, even sprayed it with my hairspray to keep the inks on the surface, and finally after all my efforts I was rewarded with this grungy loveliness, ooohh I do love to just throw ink and paint about and see what I get.
Anyway, thought for today, don't give up, it will be ok in the end (and I am not just on about my card), and a Happy Birthday to me for tomorrow.

Carpe Diem by Titbelsoeur
Hello there !
This summer, I am a "workshopless" designer, and as such I had to adjust my makes to the bare minimum ! Hence this 15-mn multiple card making, like here : Seize the moment by Titbelsoeur
The technique is the same :
I have first stamped the "CARPE DIEM" sentiment from the very same plate as last week's : Journaling Words 3 size A5 plate with Archival ink and added two boats from my Beach Huts & Boats 2 © Tit Belsoeur plate. When dry, I have watered the paper with a watercolour brush and then added watercolours here and there to have them mixed together, except on the boat I have kept dry.

Love colour by Siobhan
I decided to make a nice bright cheery card using Distress Oxides and inspired by Tracy Evans on Hochanda last week, she used some really simple but effective techniques, which I used to highlight this fabulous hydrangea stamp from The Artistic Stamper, I also used the quote from the same Botanical 3 set.

Beach Huts
As it is my friends birthday next week, I have decided to make her a set of go to cards....a card stash..(and an excuse to unload some of my crafty makes)!!. I made the card stash folder using a weetabix box, and covered it with old map pages, the pockets inside are made with the same map pages, after all, the cards in this set have a beach/travel/journey kinda theme.
After a bit of stamping, stencilling, spritzing, I stamped the little BEACH HUTS on the bottom of the folder, and coloured them with promarkers.

August' Creative Challenge - ANYTHING GOES
Hi!
Welcome to our challenge for the month of August.
Thank you to everyone who joined in last month's challenge. Wonderful creations!
This month the theme is ANYTHING GOES and can be interpreted any way you like, as long as it has rubber stamps on it. To join in with this challenge (we are limiting the challenge entries to 3 per person), is simple; all we would like you to do is, make a piece of artwork, making sure that you include the theme and some rubber stamping. Pop back here to link up using the Inklinkz at the bottom of this post, so that we can see what you've made and then, leave us a comment to let us know you have joined in with the challenge.
As always, there will be candy for one randomly picked entrant - the winner will receive a stamp of their choice from The Artistic Stamper .
In addition, you can enter the same challenge on Facebook! There is no prize on there, it's just for fun!
To join us on just go to our new Facebook group, and send us a request to join..
And don't forget....if you use The Artistic Stamper stamps on your entry, you will entered into the draw, twice!
Have you seen our new Wall Words stamps ? I have used the large one to make this 15 mn card : I have stamped it with Archival ink and added one boat from my Beach Huts & Boats 2 © Tit Belsoeur plate. When dry, I have watered the paper with a watercolour brush and then added watercolours here and there to have them mixed together, except on the boat I have kept dry.

My most used stencil of all time has to be the DOG ROSE stencil by Lesley Matthewson,
it is a huge A4 size stencil and has two flowers on it, so each flower fills an A5 size card with no trouble. I am loving the red and teal colour combo here.
I have used a couple of stamps for the background;
CALLIGRAPHY MAT 12
SEQUIN WASTE OPEN
and the sentiment is from the JOURNALING WORDS stamp set

As this month is Anything Goes, I have added to my Postcard series, and used Tit Belsoeur fish stamps on a painted background. Colour them in with the new Alcohol ink pens from Tombow, and add some Stickles. The seaweed at the bottom of the postcard is from a set of stamps by Scrapcosy from PaperArtsy
