For You by Tina Barnett

For You! One of the NEW Mabel Lucie Attwell stamps is available at The Artistic Stamper

Wow oh wow!! I love this stamp! I have abandoned my usual Promarkers to try something a little different. I have used a Tim Holtz ink pad to colour my image, Frayed Burlap. I have still shaded the stamp image by building up the ink in some places.

I have to say I loved working with the ink! So on to the ins and outs of the card. I used an 8in by 8in card and aged the edge with the Frayed Burlap ink. I then took 2 pieces of white card stock and stamped 2 back ground stamps, one stamp on each sheet. I then used my waterpen and blended in the ink. I also aged the edge of the paper.

I made a frame using nestabilities. I then mounted the image . I layered the card together as shown.

I added some Frayed Burlap and Rock Candy crackle paints to different parts of the card. I inked a Tim Holtz swirl and added to the card.

I then completed the card with some twine and 2 heart embellishments.

I thought I would add a list of materials, most of them can be found at The Artistic Stamper

Stamps
Mabel Lucie Attwell "For You" - The Artistic Stamper
Two background stamps - The Artistic Stamper

Other Materials

The Card stock, twine and embellishments were from my stash.

Well, I hope you have enjoyed looking, I think this card shows that cute stamps can be grungy too!

Happy New Year Peeps!

Bye for now
