MAGICAL, MYSTICAL WALL HANGING

Sorry about the dodge title (lol)

Hi all, Kat here AKA Kat's craft creations
I am a now a fully fledged, full time member of the design team,
& I will be popping up about 3 times a month, how cool is that!
thanks Hels & Jennie for the opportunity,

the design team are featuring Baubles and Buttons
this month & you can find them HERE at special offer prices

Here's my first creation for the month of July
my mystical wall hanging,

I covered 2 chipboard shapes with white paper,

then covered with 2 coats of Antique Linen distress stain
after that dryed, I stamped the
(after I doctored the stamp to how I wanted It)
with Versamark ink & heat embossed with clear powder,
I then stamped Calligraphic mat 13 with
Pumice stone Distress Ink (now my new favorite)

added the holes & brads with a crop-o-dile &
used idea-ology bead chain as the hangings

I cut 2 frames with sizzix jelly frame out of card & used
then glued them to my images, & stuck them to the background.

for the flowers I used a selection of old book pages
& stamped the largest flower off of the Flower Bloom set
& layered them up.

Then added the buttons from Accoutrements fanciful.

for the leaves I used sizzix leaf stem
& cut them out of 2 different pearlessent papers
arranged & glued as shown

to finish off I added 2 butterflies cut with a punch
& I made the body's from wire & beads

then added all the dangley beads & pearls

Hope you like it!

Just before I go,
I thought I would show you how I cut my
to get lots more affects out of the one stamp
& I still have a block section to be able to
make a solid background (cool ha!)

Thanks for having me,
I'll be back on the 15th with my next creation,
until then have lots of creative day's,
Kat x.
