1. I made an inky background with Distress Inks wild honey, scattered straw and a touch of frayed burlap....swooshing them around on a craft mat after being spritzed with water in a mini mister.
2. Stamped the Slow/Fast dial in Distress Ink aged mahoganey and masked it before using a stamp positioner to stamp the lower portion of the Around the World in Archival coffee.
3. Stamped the ruler from Ephemera 1 plate in Distress frayed burlap down one side and the post card from the same plate in tea dye.
4. Using a variety of words from Journaling Words 1 and 2 and Journaling mini words to make the fragments and edged with a Distress Marker in fired brick.
5. The butterfly is a grungepaper die cut to which I applied the shattered stains technique featured in The Compendium of Curiosities II using Distress Crackle rock candy and Distress Stains in dried marigold and broken china.
Thanks for looking and hope you liked it ;)
See you again soon!

Great combination of stamps.
ReplyDeleteI love the shattered stains technique and your butterfly is perfect. I did expect to see a trawler when I spied the ships wheel (it is one isn't it?). Lovely tag again Sioux.
