Thank you to everyone for all your fabulous entries that you submitted to last month's Circles challenge. We had so many wonderful creative pieces from you all and we will be announcing one very lucky winner in the next few days, so make sure you check back to see if it's you!!
Last month we had the pleasure of having the very talented Carol Fox join us as our Guest Designer and on behalf of the team, Jennie and I would like to say a big thank you to Carol, for all her hard work and for the stunning creations that she made and shared with us. In August, we have the lovely Marjie Kemper as our Guest Designer, and we're really looking forward to seeing all her gorgeous artwork, here on the blog.
This month, we are all very excited to be celebrating the 2nd Anniversary of the The Artistic Stamper Creative Team blog and during the month, there will be some exciting giveaways happening on each of the team's posts. So, remember to keep checking back to be in with the chance of winning one of the fabulous prizes that will be on offer, and we hope you will join in with our celebrations.
The new challenge for August is HOLIDAYS. To join in with this challenge is simple; make a piece of artwork, making sure that you include the theme and some rubberstamping. Pop back here to link up using the Froggy at the bottom of this post, so that we can see what you've made and then, leave us a comment to let us know you have joined in with the challenge. For ONE MONTH ONLY to celebrate our anniversary there will be THREE randomly picked entrants - each winner will receive £15 worth of The Artistic Stamper stamps of your choice plus the Kling On to mount them onto. And don't forget....if you use Artistic Stamper stamps on your entry, you will entered into the draw, twice!!!!
If you do need any inspiration, then look no further than our Creative Team's stunning creations for this month's challenge.
Sioux made this little card using mainly stamps from the Ephemera 1 plate and the Open Road plate.
The front (You can see that on my blog) has the addition of the sentiment from Travelling Words and the cute little heart from Journaling Words I
Zuzu has made an acetate card with a "British seaside" holiday theme. The card and tag are decorated using acetate, paper, inks, alcohol ink and the following stamps: Film strip, seaside no1 #018, borders A6 #2 (for bubbles) travel Labels. The inside, has a film strip acetate pocket added, to slip the tag in. The tag is used to write your message or greeting on.
Jennie has decorated a mini suitcase, perfect for those mini holiday knick knacks! The suitcase was painted in Studio black gesso , and then stencilled with white Gesso through the Snakeskin stencil from Crafter's Workshop. Dylusions sprays were added when it was all dry.
We hope you will join in with this month's challenge and we're really looking forward to seeing your interpretation of our theme and all your amazing creations and artwork. Please, don't forget to add a comment when you post your entry.
I hope you all have a happy and very creative month.
See you soon... Emma x
