Another month has flown by and that means one thing, it's the start of a brand new challenge ~ so, welcome...we really hope you'll join in!!
We would also like to says thank you to everyone for all your fabulous entries that you submitted to last month's Splatters and Speckles challenge. We had so many wonderful creative pieces from you all and we will be announcing one very lucky winner in the next few days, so make sure you check back to see if it's you!!
Last month we had the pleasure of having the very talented Lori Hassler join us as our Guest Designer and on behalf of the team, Jennie and I would like to say a big thank you to Lori, for all her hard work and for the stunning creations that she made and shared with us. In October, we have the lovely Yvonne Fay as our Guest Designer, and we're really looking forward to seeing all her gorgeous artwork, here on the blog.
The new challenge for October is all about the THE NATURAL WORLD. To join in with this challenge is simple; make a piece of artwork, making sure that you include the theme and some rubberstamping. Pop back here to link up using the Froggy at the bottom of this post, so that we can see what you've made and then, leave us a comment to let us know you have joined in with the challenge. As always, there will be candy for one randomly picked entrant - the winner will receive £15 worth of The Artistic Stamper stamps of your choice plus the Kling On to mount them onto. And don't forget....if you use Artistic Stamper stamps on your entry, you will entered into the draw, twice!!!!
If you do need any inspiration, then look no further than our Creative Team's stunning creations for this month's challenge.
Sioux chose to make a journal page in her A5 size book and used botanical plate1, calligraphic mat 13, Insects and butterflies plate 1 and journaling mini words 1 to make the composition.
Zuzu
Zuzu has made a museum specimen beetle in an authentic museum specimen box (they had been thrown out from the Edinburgh natural history museum.). I used the "insects and butterfly stamp set from" HERE. I stamped the beetle out five times and painted it with Perfect pearls HERE.
I layered it up in sections, curving it as I went to try and make it 3D. Finally it was coated in UTEE. The label is from the chit chat stickers. You can pin him to your lapel or glue a brooch pin on the back if you like.
Jennie has used one of her altered books, and added a page which has been sparyaed with Dylusions Sprays, and then stamped with Natural stamps from Insects & Butterflies, and Botanical 1. She has cut around the wings of the butterflies and dragonfly to reveal the uninked pages behind.
We hope you will join in with this month's challenge and we're really looking forward to seeing your interpretation of our theme and all your amazing creations and artwork. Please, don't forget to add a comment when you post your entry.
I hope you all have a happy and very creative month.
See you soon...

Wonderful inspiration from the design team this month. I have entered the challenge although as yet I do not have any AS stamps, I hope I have done enough stamping to qualify. A x
