Question : What do you do if you want to test the ATB technique, AND use these awesome new stamps from the Artistic Stamper ?
Answer : very easy !
You cut 6 equal pieces in a cardboard (mine are 15x15 cm) and adjust them together to make a dice :
you cover the edges with newspaper sheets :
add gesso randomly :
and distress them with walnut stain :
When the dice is done, I cut 2 scrapbooking sheets into 4 and distressed all backs and edges of 6 from them :
Then I stamped this paper (that will be on the top of the block) here and there with Florence's Flowers stamp :
On the 4 other sheets I stamped a single big one of some other Debbie Cotton stamps :
and here is my block :
To decorate the top of the block, I added some little things like cogs, a fridge lamp, a car key and key holder, a dried rose, and....
this flower I am very proud of, though it was very easy to make : 5 circles cut in an old pair of jeans, pinched with just a stitch, then gathered with a few stitches, ribbon, lace and a big wooden button...
