Love, Live, Laugh by Gemma

I have another quick card to share with you today, I only used a black piece of card, white ink, and paint along with some of my Artistic Stamper stamps and stencils

Step by Step

- Cut a piece of black card to fit the front of a card blank
- Stamp around the edges with white ink and a background stamp. I have used the mini square wire stamp.
-Blend a little ink around the edges of the card.
- Mix a little white paint with water and splatter paint over the top

- Sponge white paint through the words love, live, and laugh from the 6x6 work mask. Opps! I meant to use the word life from the same mask but got a bit carried away.

- Stamp one of  Neil Walkers Birdz on the bottom in white paint extending the legs to the base of the card.
- Doodle some flowers in random places with a white paint pen, also go over the stamped and stenciled images as needed.

Love Inspiration...... Journal page by Debs

Hi Everyone,

This piece started life as a mop up page

The original intension was to clean off some stencils that i seemed to have had loads of paste one and was planning on just wiping my stencils on the page  - My black journal was handy at the time.

The messy background was the first layer achieved by wiping the stencil/mask that had some left over paste on it directly onto the page.
With the intention of just using the texture under paints or sprays.
I seemed to use more paste than usual and as I started to use more stencils i seemed to have paste left over on the mask each time and just passed it back through the stencil onto the page.  The more i added bits the more i liked it and when it had all dried i added some white lines around the outside.

I was going to take this photo outside to ensure that the whiteness stood out, however we had quite a bit of rain here this afternoon and this evening, so it was taken indoors and the photo has taken on a sepia feel!

A summer wall hanger by Titbelsoeur

Take a LP record, blue and white acrylic paint, a small size gelli plate, some seashells... AND stamps from The Artistic Stamper, and let's go !
First apply paint on the gelli plate to ink the umbrella from  Seaside No. 1 A5and stamp it here and there on the record :

Then, apply white and blue again on the gelli pate and stamp Marbled Background #3 C128 © CaroLines on it, then stamp it on the paper, and apply the plate on another paper, to choose your background. When chosen, cut a circle in it and stamp seahorse and seashells on it, and then the sentiment from Grungy Greetings #2 A6). Then stick it on the circle.

And you may now decorate it with shells, cut corks, string, etc...

Hearts Tag by Gemma

Sharing a fun and messy tag today that I made with a piece of black card cut to shape, lots of black and white paint and a mixture of stamps and masks.
There is still plenty of time to check out this month challenge here on the blog andFacebookbook for a chance to win.

 Step by Step

- Drag black and white acrylic paint over a sheet of cardstock using an old store card or palette knife. Make sure to overlap the black and white paint in areas to mix different shades of gray.
- Before it completely dries (here is the messy part) take some different stamps and/or masks and randomly stamp over the top. You want this to be fairly busy as it will be ripped into small sections.

- Cut a tag measuring 9 x 21 cm from black cardstock, also cut some of the painted cardstock down to the rough size and shape needed to fit the tag.
- Stamp two of Neil Walkers Mini Hearts and the word imagine from the framed words set onto white card and cut then out.

- Stamp onto the tag with white ink and a calligraphy mat, edge the tag with the same ink and scrape some black paint over the top through a mask for added interest.
- Rip around all the edges of the painted pieces of card and lay them onto of the tag. Change the sizes until you are pleased and add more black or white paint in places to make your layers stand out from each other.
- Glue everything into place adding the hearts and text last.

Black and White Blooms by Angie

Today's page is in one of my altered books - these are one of my favourite things and there is a fab Altered Book Class at the Artistic Stamper once a month.

First I glued a couple of pages together for strength and painted the top of the pages black using acrylic paint.

Next I used white acrylic paint and the Artistic Stamper Swirl Mask to add the swirly pattern.

I punched holes all around the edge and then sewed around the edge using a blanket stitch.

I stamped some flowers onto spare book pages and glued them onto the background.

Last I did a little bit of doodling with a white acrylic pen.

Hope you like it!

Until next time,
Angie
