Paint and Hearts Birthday card by Gemma

I created this 20 x 20 cms card and coordinating gift box and card box, using PaperArtsy paints, stamps and masks from The Artistic Stamper

I cut a piece of white card to fit the front of my card blank, which I ran through my cutting machine using mixed media dies. I then applied some texture paste in places through the honeycomb mask.

After coating the card with a layer of Gesso, I added China and Captain Peacock PaperArtsy paints over the top mixing it in with the Gesso. I dry brushed over the top with the same colours to highlight the areas covered with texture paste.

I stamped over the top with different stamps and colours, I used the honeycomb stamp and Tinned Peas paint.  Calligraphy mat 12 with Captin Peacock and Calligraphy Mat 11 and Gesso.

Once I was happy with the background and had glued it to the card front. I started working on and glueing embellishments on top. I took some cardboard hearts from my stash coated then with Tinned Peas paint, stamped over the top with Calligraphy Mat 11 and edged them with gilding wax.

All of the other embellishments came from my stash they were painted with the same paints with the addition of Haystack and stamped with the same two Calligraphy Mats.

Thanks for stopping by and reading, I have loved seeing all the challenge entries thin months and can not wait to see what you talented bunch create next month.

Where there is love.......by Debs

Hi Everyone

I have done a journal page for you this week.  I have used stamps as a base to doodle on!

I love Journaling as some of you may know and just lately i have been playing with doodling, I suspect this page may well be added to in time.

To create the background i sprayed one side of the page with White Linen Dylusions Spray
Then I added
Lemon Zest, Squeezed Orange, Bubblegum Pink, Polish Jade and Pure Sunshine, added a spritz of water and then closed the book!

I used Lesley's Flowers and Leaves Mask with white linen to create a border, and then turned the mask over on the opposite page

I then added on more stencilling with the Artistic Stamper number and signs mask and the circle mask, adding spray with a sponge and then i stamped the large heart from the Roses are Red stamp plate.  I also stamped the hollow heart on to the white circles and wrote on them to look like love hearts.  Then doodled all over it!!
The quote is also from the roses are red stamp plate.

Take care, happy crafting and i shall look forward to seeing all of your entries, there are still a couple more days before the end of the month! We really do enjoy seeing them all

New background stamps by Titbelsoeur

Hello, happy crafters,
I was so eager to test the new mini background stamps from the Artistic Stamper, that I have made something between a page and a card, using Distress inks to make the background, then stamping these stamps in matching shades (Spice Marmalade, Barn Door...) and the Web background one with a darker colour. Some black and white acrylic paint with a credit card and bottle cap,  Framed Words #1 stamped with black Archival, and then glued a cut out stamped inspiration jar, and here it is !

Thank you so much for stopping by,
your comments are very much appreciated,

Heart Cards by Gemma

I have two small 4 x4 inch cards to share with you all today,
using the mini heart stamp designed by Neil Walker.

I cut two pieces of card to fit onto the 4x4 inch card blanks, On the first, I stamped the mini heart in the left bottom section of the paper, and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.

I then sprayed over the top with red, green and yellow/gold sprays. I sprayed lightly making sure not to cover the whole paper. I wanted lots of white space left.

Once dry I drew in a very rustic figure balancing the heart on their hand, using the same pen I doodled around the edge of the paper before adding some more doodles with a silver and white paint pen. before glueing to the card blank I added some washi tape.

On the second piece of paper, I stamped three of the mini hearts, I stamped these so that they overhung the edges of the paper and then I heat embossed them with black embossing powder.

Using the same three sprays as before, I sprayed lightly to leave lots of white space I also unscrewed the tops from the bottles and dropped the ink onto the paper.

I added some washi tape to the paper and doodled around the edges. On a separate piece of paper, I stamped and embossed an extra heart that I cut out and glued onto the front of the paper. before glueing the paper to the card blank I added some more doodles and dots with white and silver paint pens.

Valentine by Lesley MacKenzie

Hi all,

For this months  challenge I have created a Valentines card. I have to be honest and say it started life as a tag, but as I continued to work on it  was too nice not to use on a card, so in the true spirit of all crafters a ''happy accident '' turned it into a card for my Hubby (don't tell him ) .

The products used this month are:
Artistic Stamper stamps - Essential Hearts and Mini Backgrounds 2# and 3#
Distress Inks - Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron
Archival Ink - Vibrant Fuchsia
Black embossing pen, ink and powder
Glossy Accents
Crackle Accents
Sepia Accents
Black Twine
Beads
Odd gems

Step 1:  I stamp distress ink onto my work mat and spritz with water then place the tag face down and swirl into the inks

Step 2 - Next I splash drops of water onto the tag and mop with paper towel before drying, to create extra texture, I then stamped the 3 small hearts in black embossing ink and embossed in black . I also edged the tag with embossing ink and embossed with black embossing powder.

Step 3  - On a separate sheet of white card I stamped with the Fuchsia Archival Ink using the Mini Background stamps. I then stamped the hearts using black embossing ink and embossed them. I cut them out .

Step 4 - I fixed the hearts to the tag using foam pads. I added black twine to give the effect of tied stems. I used a different Accent medium on each if the hearts  and embellished with beads and gems. I stamped the text and embossed in black.

Step 7 - On a white 6'' x 6'' card using an embossing pen I created a border around the card and embossed in black , I mounted the tag onto the card and trimmed the excess in the corners .

The end results is crisp and clean looking, with lots of texture using vibrant colours. Hope you like, until next time Happy Valentines Day!

Love, love, love... by Debs

Hi Everyone

Is it really February already!! Despite the cold air usually associated with February, there is always some warmth around the 14th!!

I love it when Jennie releases new stamps, and i have a rule that i don't put new things away until have used them.

I started by using the new Seth Apter Paint set from PaperArtsy and just used the four colours in the set Mud Splat, Green Patina, Key Lime and Smoked Paprika, believe it or not the base coat was Mud Splat!

I used the a couple of the new mini background stamps from sets #2 and #3
and randomly stamped with some of the paint

I stamped the new Neil Walker mini heart onto tissue paper with black archival ink, and used the       6 x 6 word mask to stencil Love on with some of the Green Patina paint.

i shall look forward to seeing all of your lovely projects.

Happy crafting and enjoy

He[art] Journal page by Ttibelsoeur

Hello happy Journalers, how are you doing ?
It was great to use these Artistic Stamper stamps to make a new art journal page.

The page was not blank in first place : I have gathered many monoprinted pages to make a new art journal. Hence the first layer, gelliprinted with Bamboo Open Texture Mat C156 © CaroLines
The second layer was made with the new Mini background stamps and assorted Distress inks. Then I stamped Decay forms and steampunk border from Borders A5 2 on the edges with black Archival ink. Some white marks made with white acrylic paint on bottle caps, and the background was done.

Then I stamped the 2 Inspiration Jars with black Archival Ink on a separate drawing paper, already colored with Distress Ink Pads (Mustard seed, Spiced Marmalade and Broken China), I added the new Mini Heart © Neil Walker on the blank jar, highlighted some details with a white pen, cut both out and glued both on my page.

I was just missing a title 😅... easy peasy, found it in the Journaling section !

February's Creative Challenge - Love Hearts

Hi
A Big thank you to everyone who joined in last month's challenge. Some spectacular makes :)
This month's challenge is Love Hearts, and can be interpreted any way you like, as long as it has rubber stamping in it.

To join in with this challenge (we are limiting the challenge entries to 3 per person), is simple; all we would like you to do is, make a piece of artwork, making sure that you include the theme and some rubber stamping. Pop back here to link up using the Inklinkz at the bottom of this post, so that we can see what you've made and then, leave us a comment to let us know you have joined in with the challenge.
As always, there will be candy for one randomly picked entrant - the winner will receive a stamp of their choice from The Artistic Stamper .

In addition, you can enter the same challenge on Facebook!

To join us on just go to our new Facebook group, and send us a request to join..  There will be a prize for the Facebook challenge, as well as the blog challenge!

And don't forget....if you use The Artistic Stamper stamps on your entry, you will entered into the draw, twice!
To get you started here is some creative gorgeousness from some of the team....

February's challenge is Love Hearts, and for this challenge I decided to turn a bottle into a dress for this amazing skull bottle stopper I received for Christmas. The skirt of the dress is painted fabric that has been stamped with a few different background stamps and cut into individual hearts before being stuck to the bottle.  I loved last months entries and can not wait to see what everyone creates this month.

For this Heart challenge, I have used our brand new stamps, heart and web, to make this scented project :) with mini perfume bottles and caps, and a tuna can (closer pictures and more details on my blog) :

I have created an ATC using Neil's new Web Background and his mini heart. I coloured it all with the limited Tracy Scott paints from PaperArtsy. A little glossy accnts on the heart lifted it.

We hope that you will join in this month's challenge, and also join us on Facebook too.

We look forward to seeing your creations. Don't forget to add a comment when you have posted your entry.

Have a very creative month

Hugs

Jennie
