Light Bulb Tag By Gemma

For my post today I have a tag to share with you, I used Dylusions paints and stamps from The Artistic Stamper to create this tag.

The whole tag is very roughly made, with no attempt at precision. I stamped and cut the light bulb from a piece of card, over this I stamped a calligraphy mat using black ink. I also included second generation stamping, for some variation. I then stamped part of a flower in orange and scribbled in places with a black pen.

I placed this over a larger piece of card and drew around the light bulb so I knew where I had to paint. I stamped some of Lesley's flowers inside the drawn light bulb.

Using Dylusions paints and paint pens I painted this piece of card and then splattered gesso over the top. I then glued the white card over the top matching the light bulbs up. I cut the corners from the top to create the shape I wanted and then mounted this to a darker piece of card.

Thanks for reading

Floral Fantasy ATC's by Debs

Hi Everyone

I have made some ATC's for you today.

I had quite a bit of fun with these, although they did turn out a little darker than i had hoped.

I used my collection of Distress Oxides in 8 out of the 12 colours,  I put the pad directly onto some card, and then sprayed with water, whilst wet i sprinkled with Paperartsy Infusions in Rocky Road.

As you can see i used a lovely of selection of Artistic Stamper flower stamps, i added some background stamps on a couple of them and also added some white pen.

On some of them you can see the red from the Rocky Road Infusion peeking through the original colours.

Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as i enjoyed making them

Happy crafting
Debs

Wet Wipe Flower Card by Gemma

Hello Everyone

For my post today I have a card I made using used wet wets that I dried out and stamped over.

I glued the wet wipe to a piece of card, that I had already cut to fit the card blank and trimmed off the edges. Then I stamped the words dream, imagine and creative from the framed words set.

I then stamped around the edges with distress ink and the mini honeycomb stamp, before adding extra colour to the edges with distress ink.

On two or three other dried wet wipes I stamped out Lesley's Ivy and one of the extra stamps that come's with the solid floral background. I cut them out and glued them to the card front.

Grunge card by Titbelsoeur

Hello happy stampers,
Here is my first make for May, and I am happy to share this grunge card with you !

The support is made with a torn piece of an old LP vinyl record cover, folded in 2 and "sealed" by a ribbon, since the idea is to send it as a mail art (not inside an envelope, then). I have covered it with gesso for a grunge look.
I have used a bit of paper formerly stamped with Alphabet Soup Background & Border size A6 ©Neil Walker
The flower is a cut out piece of the Floral Open Background with 2 Free Flower stamps
And on the big green paper, I have made marks with gesso with a milk bottle cap, then stamped big hugs and kisses from Grungy Greetings #1 A6
To be fully grunge, I have stapled all papers to the support.
I will then write the recipient's name and address with a white pen and stick my stamp somewhere... maybe on the flower, although it is stapled... not sure yet...

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hi there! To celebrate this flower fantasy challenge, I have made an art journal page with lots of stamped flowers : on the background, on the edges and as a cut out, I used the Lesley's Flowers size A6 © Lesley Matthewson for a floral and colorful fantasy page :

Flower fantasy

Flower Fantasy is this months challenge, and I thought I would have a bit of fun turning the light bulb stamp into a flower. I have also stamped inside the light bulbs with a calligraphy mat and one of Lesley's flower stamps.

We hope that you will join in this month's challenge, and also join us on Facebook too.

We look forward to seeing your creations. Don't forget to add a comment when you have posted your entry.
