MEMORIES

Hi Guys. We are well into this months "round and round" challenge....my favourite shape!!

I made this card a while ago while I was having a play with some structure gel and the Artistic Stamper large sequin waste mask. It dried clear so I then stamped the small dragonflies from the insects and butterflies set, and added paint and spray inks to the rest, then used a heat gun to bubble the paint and gel to add some texture.....well guys, I think that is how I rolled with this card....lol...my memory is rapidly fading...so that is why it got this title, a word taken from the framed words stamp set....very apt for me!!!
I do hope you can join in with our fabulous challenge, you will find the link HERE.

Woodland card by Titbelsoeur

Hello Everybody,
I have made a card for you today, using the Mushrooms A5 Plate © Tit Belsoeur I had the pleasure to design fot The Artistic Stamper. My background is made with waterbased inks sprayed on my mat, then I put the paper on to it and immediately stamped the Harlequin background from Mini Backgrounds # 2 size A6 to have it diluted. I stamped it on the card paper as well.
Then I cut out the mushroom stamped images I had coloured with watercolours and sticked them on to the background paper :

A Fond Farewell by Gemma Hynes

Hello Everyone

This will be my last post for The Artistic Stamper's Design Team. I have been a team member here since (I think) the summer of 2015 and I have loved every minute of it.

I have been surrounded by so many talented people, including all my teammates both past and present, all the wonderful people who enter our challenges and Jennie who makes all the fabulous stamps we use. I have loved being able to look at everyone's creations and have been inspired by so many of you and I hope to have inspired some of you as well.

I have had the pleasure of making and sharing with you all so many different projects and Jennie has asked me to share some of my favorites with you.

So in no particular order......

I love everything about this one, the colours, the finish, the photo. I wouldn't change a thing and that is not something that happens often.

This is a recent make, and it just makes me smile.

I made this card in 2016 but it's still a design I love and go back to again and again.

Number 4

This was also a make from 2016, I love the browns and yellows together with the torn card glued over the script stamp background.

Altered CD

This was one of the first if not the first project I ever made as a member of this team and altering CDs is still something I like to do.

I want to thank each and every one of you who has taken the time over the years to read my posts or to leave me a comment, it was hugely appreciated, so thank you.

"Shine brightly" by Angie Coomber

Hello everyone! It's been very hot in the South-East of England this summer and my cabin is a lovely cool, shady place, so I have been spending a lot of my spare time hiding in there messing about with paints. I've been trying out new techniques and I'm into these flower pages at the moment.

I started by scribbling random colours (in this case Distress Crayons) on a journal page and then blending them with a water brush.

I added scraps of book pages and some stickers that I made a while ago.

Next I drew a simple flower with a black Stabilo pencil.

I coloured the petals and leaves with Distress Crayons, then went over with the water brush. You automatically get some lovely shading from the Stabilo this way.

I painted some black and white patches with my fingers, using acrylic paints.

Next I used some background stamps, both on the actual background as well as the petals.

Lastly I added some gold paint splatter, white doodling and a quote sticker.
I really hope you like it!

Until next time!

Round and round with Lisa

Hello lovelies. Lisa here with today's post. The theme this month is 'round and round' which you can interpret anyway you see fit.

So here is mine...

As the theme is round and round, I played with circles and dots. I used The Artistic Stamper Random Dots 6 x 6 stencil and stamps from the A4 Swirls, Splats and Dots stamp set and from the A5 Insects and Butterflies stamp set.

For more info on my creation, head over to

Toodles for now,

Here are the Artistic Stamper products I used which are available on the website.

Shaving foam background by Titbelsoeur

Hello crafters !
I have told you on the September Challenge post that I would show you my backgrounds made with shaving foam.
The technique is very simple and I like to get back to fundamentals from time to time ! You will find a lot of tutorials on Pinterest or using your web browser search tool.
Here is the page I have coloured with this technique, cut in 6 parts to make a mini-album :

And here it is, front page, 2 double pages and back page :

Proud Grandma

Well...today I am introducing you to a new artist on the block......my gorgeous four year old Grandson Jack!!!. We were doing a painting session, and as usual he squirts way too much paint into the palette so he always has loads left over, well I hate waste, and especially when it comes to wasting craft products!!!, so I grabbed him one of the circular stamps from the DECAY JOURNAL PLATE and got him to dip it in the excess paint and stamp onto some card, and look at that gorgeous background that he created!!!...proud Grandma moment!!!...I just finished it off with some words and a butterfly from the INSECTS AND BUTTERFLIES set. On reflection tho, I wish I had put "My love for my Grandson is like a circle".

So...thank you and well done Jack, you truly are awesome. If you want to see what state he actually ended up then go to MY BLOG

Let's go round and round... around the world, as long as home is where the heart is !
To make this art journal page, I have used a background made with shaving foam (I will show you more this month about it), and stamped the circles from Decay Journaling Stamps #1 Size A5 with similar ink colours.
Then I stamped houses from Home Sweet Home A5 © Kathleen Fullman around some of these circles.
I wrote "around the world" and stamped "Home is where the heart is" from the same plate.

"Life is good with you around"....could apply to my partner, definitely to my Grandchildren, or even to you fabulous craft world friends out there!!.

I started this card off by stamping the SEQUIN WASTE OPEN stamp in blue ink, then with the SPLATS AND SWIRL mask, and texture paste, I used the three different sized circles to make these...erm...spheres!!..dont really know what they are supposed to be, I only know I have a fascination for circles and love trying to colour them so that they look dimensional!!. I used Brushos for the background and the circles. Finally I stamped the butterflies from the INSECTS AND BUTTERFLIES set, coloured them, then added them to my background with silicone glue for dimension.

I have made a card using PaperArty's new paint colours, in Koala, Mustard Pickle , and lemon Meringue, and stamping circles from Decay stamp range.
I coloured the large new Butterfly with Golden Sands infusions from PaperArtsy, and cut it out.

We hope that you will join in this month's challenge, and also join us on Facebook too.
We look forward to seeing your creations. Don't forget to add a comment when you have posted your entry.
Have a very creative  month
Jennie xx
