Is spring on its way ?

It's so cold these days, Spring is definitely not on its way....
And yet, why wouldn't we hope a little bit ?
Take a sheet of paint paper...
A paintbrush...
watercolor....
archival ink...
black and white markers....
and...
these amazing new Artistic Stamper's butterflies !!

I don't know yet whether this will be a card or an art journal page...

But it was just a great pleasure to stamp and color them, color the background, and then write the quote ! I could almost forget the cold outside !

Thanks so much for stopping by,
your comments are very much appreciated.
Don't forget to participate in our monthly challenge to win some fabulous Artistic Stamper stamps.

Neil Walker's Trio Of Hearts

Hi everyone to continue with our challenge this month LOVE! I have done a
trio of hearts for you, using the fabulous Artistic Stampers
Neil Walker Stamps.

Firstly I used Brusho on wet white card I sprayed it with a
mini mister of water.

I sprinkled Prussian Blue, Sandstone & Crimson.

If you haven't used these before have a play first as you don't
need much. I followed with a little of gold mica powder
mixed with water in the mister bottle.

I used the same embossing technique that I used in my last
post of triple embossing powder.

I followed with stream and denim alcohol inks.

Finally I stamped the Neil walker alphabet soup stamp in walnut stamp
I gold embossed it and ran the versa fine ink pad around the
edges and dragged it through the gold embossing powder.
Walnut stain was blended round the sides.
Brass sequins to finish.

Products Used
1.   Brusho :- Sandstone, Prussian blue, Crimson.
2. Neil Walkers stamps:-hearts and alphabet soup boarder.
6. Sequins from my stash.

I hope you liked this project love to hear what you think?
Cheers Dee x

February's Creative Challenge- Love

A BIG thank you to everyone who joined in January's  Challenge. We loved all of the entries.
Our new challenge for February is Love. You can interpret this anyway you like :) as long as it has rubber stamping in it.

We are  looking forward to seeing all your artwork and stamped projects that you submit in relation to this theme. To join in with this challenge (and you can join in as many times as you want), is simple; all we would like you to do is, make a piece of artwork, making sure that you include the theme and some rubber stamping. Pop back here to link up using the Inklinkz at the bottom of this post, so that we can see what you've made and then, leave us a comment to let us know you have joined in with the challenge. As always, there will be candy for one randomly picked entrant - the winner will receive £15 worth of The Artistic Stamper stamps of your choice. And don't forget....if you use Artistic Stamper stamps on your entry, you will entered into the draw, twice!!!! You can also enter as many times as you like!
Some of the team have created artwork for you to be inspired by....

I've gone the whole Valentine's hog with hearts, flowers and even lace!  They're all collected on some tea and coffee dyed tags, with torn book pages and some rustic buttons to complete the look.  I've used my favourite Calligraphy Plate #19 to "write romantic love letters" in the background, and the tiny flower tags are stamped with Katy Leitch's Botanical #2 plate.  Come and see the details at Words and Pictures

Words LO

Hi)
Here is Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) here for you today.

Flu raging in our house for several days.
This year it is particularly insidious ...
So this LO, probably done  the most in order to cheer me up.

To be honest, for the creating this project, I did not need anything but a photo and stamp with positive words)
Let's see.

A little closer:

Slightly to the left:

Downwards slightly to the right:

And another angle:

Here is the best Journaling Mini Words stamp , heh:

P. S. I have to confess that in addition to photo and stamp I also used the paper for the base, glue, white gel pen and two kinds of acrylic ink (for splashes). Although still is not very much material ...) Do you agree?

Observation

Hello Everyone, Shilpa here
I've art panel today to share with you.

I've used lots of Artistic stamper stamps for this.

I enjoyed making this background. Here are the steps I followed.
1. Gessoed the panel
2. Applied Peeled paint distress stain. Let it dry.
3. Stamped text randomly on background with Artistic stamper Calligraphy mat 13 and Fern Green Archival Ink. I also stamped texture with Artistic stamper Fantasy background stamp designed by Neil Walker.
4.Spritzed Picket fence distress stain and let it drip. Heat set it.
5. I created large clock in the background  with mask and peeled paint distress ink.
6. I applied vintage photo distress ink through Tim's Measured stencil at the two edges.
6. Next I stamped watches and gears.
7. Spritzed Picket fence distress stain and let it dry, it gave translucent layer.
8. Applied wild honey distress stain at the edges of panel.

Bird image is from Neil Walker designed Junior bird stamp.i colored it with wild honey distress stain dauber.

The sentiment is from Traveling words collection.

Hope you liked my art panel, it is always great to hear from you.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
