Hallelujah...He is risen!! by Jane

Hallelujah!!! ..and a very Happy Easter to you all. As it is Easter Sunday, obviously I have made easter cards to show you, and best of all, I made all three of them with my one mop up sheet as I was crafting, funny how sometimes these mop ups make my favourite sort of backgrounds!!, especially as I saw an etherial planet in my main one. The main feature for these three cards is the fabulous window from the ARCHITECTURE stamp set.

So....Hallelujah, He is risen!!!. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter, and take a little time out of your holiday to join us in this months "new growth" challenge.

Paper flag by Titbelsoeur

Hello happy crafters !
Here is a "paper flag" I have made to be added to a junk journal I taught last weekend. Let me show you how I made it :

First, I took a torn a notebook page and glued a piece of an old letter. Then I stamped the Harlequin stamp from Mini Backgrounds # 2 size A6 with Vintage Photo Distress ink. After taking the picture, I also stamped the head and body of the small girl from Gibson Girls 2 A5

On top of this, I have added a piece of a stamped envelope I have also distressed, a piece of a compress, and a piece of painted kraft from my stash, I have stamped the word "art" from Journaling Words 3 size A5  with white acrylic paint

I hope my flag gives you inspiration to participate in our

for 3 chances to win some of these fabulous Artistic Samper stamps !
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Your comments are very much appreciated here, on my blog
Bye for now and happy creating.

Ephemera by Siobhan

Another post, some more tags, but I have a good excuse.

These are tags I have made up to go into my Junk Journal, which I started at a recent class with Jenny Marples at The Artistic Stamper, we had a great day making the cover by making our own ephemera and I decided to carry on at home, as I still had lots of work to do on the inserts (signatures).

I started by applying Distress Stains to a mat, I picked this up on  a card and continued doing so until I was happy with the effect, drying in between layers.
I then used Paper Artsy Infusions, to add a more weathered effect, to age the paper I crumpled the paper up and then uncrumpled it, swiping across the creases with distress ink, I then ironed the paper flat again.

Using The Artistic Stamper Ephemera 1 stamp collection, I stamped and embossed on the paper using a selection of the stamps, then trimmed the pieces out, creating my very own ephemera.

I then aged some tags using the same method, creating pieces for attaching to my junk journal bu using the ephemera and stamping.

Hope you all like this, have a great Easter and perhaps I will see you at the Artistic Stamper Easter Extravaganza on Saturday 20th April.

Large butterfly card by Titbelsoeur

Hello there !
here is a very simple card I have made with this fabulous Large Butterfly stamp. The stamp has so many thin details that the background doesn't need to be loaded, rather the opposite ! The lighter it is, the better !
Some watercolour brush trails, some spots, then stamp when dry and highlight with a white pen, and here it is :

I hope this card gives you inspiration to participate in our

for 3 chances to win some of these fabulous Artistic Samper stamps !

All things Eileen!!

I was gonna title this "come on Eileen".....but I thought you would be singing it all day then!!..oops!!. lol Anyways, still got my Eileen obsession going on, how are you managing yours?!!. I turned her treasure box into a chest of  drawers, aint it just the cutest!!. I have stamped the papers that cover it with the fabulous MARBLED BACKGROUND stamp. You might ask what has this to do with new growth, which is the theme for this months challenge!!...well you will have to wait and see what else I do with it in my next post. I look forward to seeing your "new growth" creations.
