Hi, I'm Anneliese from over at Creative Journey Workshops. The girls here kindly asked me to do a guest designer spot & so here I am :o)
For this one I used the Insects and Butterflies Stamp No. 1 # 017 which you can find Here
and the Botanical Stamps Plate 1 # 038 which you can find Here
I started off by creating the tag that fronts the card
To create this I used a manilla tag and blended Tumbled glass, Wild honey & barn door distress inks to get the warm but soft background. distress inks here
I added a strip of tissue tape (sketchbook butterflies)you can find that here
I then Stamped the floral images using Rangers Archival ink in Sepia Archival inks here
Placing them half off the tag.
The next thing I did was to stamp a butterfly using black archival ink on to some cream card stock, I then cut this out and adhered it to the tag, only gluing the central body so that the wings can be lifted up to add dimension to the card.
The next stage was to get some textured paper, tear around the edges and then stamp the same butterfly on to it using the sepia archival ink again.
Then I took a page from an old french book and inked the edges using Brushed Corduroy Distress ink
I stamped a further two butterflies, but this time onto the textured paper, again in the black archival ink and cut them both out.
Lastly I folded a piece of dark brown A4 card stock in half to create the card and I added the elements to it, I added a flash of gold paint dabber around the edges to blend it down. You can find the gold Dabber here Hope you liked this card ... see you soon for my next visit !
Take care x
