My 3 favourite projects for 2020 by Titbelsoeur

 Hello nice friends !
Each year, my last December post is dedicated to our favourite 3 projects. This is a good opportunity to wish you a very happy Christmas, and my time to look back on the things I have made and pick my top 3. This year was so weird ! Anyway, I have chosen to pick great achievements, such as :

starting videos on my YouTube channel to help my friends doing art journal during the 1st lock-down. We have made 2 journals together, but I have chosen this very page because it represents the place where I am living now, which is so precious to me, especially this year !

Seize the moment

I was also very happy to combine 2 supports I love to use : CDs and sardine cans on this project that shows many passions of mine : time, art, painting, and recycling. I consider this artwork as my #2 achievement.

My #3 achievement was that the set of cars I designed  has become a stamp set, which I am very proud of ! I have stamped them on my 2020 greeting cards, as a wish that we will soon be able to travel again...

Je me renouvelle...

I hope that many of you will participate in this very last challenge on this blog

this is the end of an era, I am sad that it ends but let's stay tuned on social networks.

I wish you a very happy Christmas, stay safe

What do we wish for 2021 ? by Titbelsoeur

 Hello there !

Here are my 2021 greeting cards.

I have recycled the 2020 cards I had not sent (seeGreeting cards by Titbelsoeur) and stamped the 2020 Gibson Girl to the remaining ones I had not sent and written "could we just [imagine 2020] this way ?" and made another card the same size to wish you to be kind to yourself in 2021 :-)

I also wish you to travel and explore, even if in your mind, this we will know later...

To figure travel and exploration, I have stamped the Beetle I have had the pleasure to draw for The Artistic Stamper :

Je me renouvelle...

I have made the background with watercolour paints.

I have used the following stamps :

CD repurposed to clock by Titbelsoeur

 Hi everybody,

Since our challenge theme this month is TIME, I have made false clocks with CDs to repurpose.

altered cd

Do you like them ? If so, I have made 2 videos on Youtube just to help you make some very easily : the first one to teach you how to make this pallet-like background, and the other one to show you how I center my stamps and never miss it (hardly ever) !

Here it is : Pallet clocks on Youtube

The time stamp I have used on this project you will find here : Time stamps

Scenery with repurposed CD and can by Titbelsoeur

 Hello there !

I decided to make this project with combining a sardine can and a CD as its base, which would allow me to add more items, such as pastels, steal feather, ink bottle, tube and pan of watercolours, a pencil,..

The CD was already full of paint, since I used it as a colour palette. I glued paper inside and outside the sardine can, I have monoprinted stamped clocks on it from Tick Tock A5 to make the background, then stamped art stamps from Artifacts - Art Plate 1

Travel tag by Titbelsoeur

Hello there, Titbelsoeur with you today.

This is a tag I have made with corrugated cardboard painted with Gesso and blue acrylic paint. I glued on it a piece of monoprinted paper I had stamped a clock on. And I stamped, water-coloured and cut out the Beetle from the plate I designed, and sticked it with 3D sticks. I also cut out the word "memories"

The stamps I used come from the following plates :

Time and Keys

Framed Words

Drawing with stamps by Titbelsoeur

 Hello everyone !

Here is a travel-book-like drawing I have made 2 years ago. I felt like I had to add a car on it !

Then I stamped one of the cars I have designed for The Artistic Stamper, coloured it with watercolours, added it to the drawing and of course added the shadows to be realistic !

And here it is, a page that fits our October challenge. Your turn now !

October' s Creative Challenge - Travel

Hello, and welcome to October's challenge,  and a GUEST Designer, and NEW stamps and Stencils!
Thank you for joining in last month. We had so many fabulous ideas, and creations.

This month the theme is Travel and can be interpreted any way you like, as long as it has rubber stamps on it.

To join in with this challenge (we are limiting the challenge entries to 3 per person), is simple; all we would like you to do is, make a piece of artwork, making sure that you include the theme and some rubber stamping. Pop back here to link up using the Inklinkz at the bottom of this post, so that we can see what you've made and then, leave us a comment to let us know you have joined in with the challenge.
This a challenge just for fun!
In addition, you can enter the same challenge on Facebook just for fun.
To join us on just go to our new Facebook group, and send us a request

Our Guest Designer is Wendy Waldorf. Please welcome her, and watch out for another post later in the month.

I was given an opportunity to be a guest designer at The Artistic Stamper for the month of October. The challenge theme this month is "travel". When I think of travel, my mind immediately goes to the seashore. I always like to bring home a few reminders of my visit to the beach. I altered a vintage playing card box for this project. The colorful background paper was created using tempera paint sticks. The Gibson Girls were colored with pencils and given dimension with the use of foam tape pads. I used seed beads for the fish eyes.

Many thanks to The Artistic Stamper Team for supplying a variety of wonderful stamps for me to work with. I used the following stamp sets for this project:

Swimming fish with waves

Gibson Girls 2

Journaling Words 2

In addition this month Titbelsoeur has designed some Travel stamps that are perfect for those of us who like nostalgia .

This is a door hanger I have made with a piece of cardboard I have distressed and covered with gesso, then turquoise and orange acrylic paint for the background. One step forward I have stamped the big one from Mushrooms © Debs Smith, cut it out and slightly coloured it with soft pastels.

This mushroomy background to give my project a "so 70's" tone !

In the foreground I have cut out the van and "wanderlust" from the very new plate I have designed for The Artistic Stamper and that I am very proud to introduce to you :

I will be happy to read your comments about it !

First I stamped the word stamp on a white tag, and the car on a gelli print, as well as on a white piece of card. I cut out the gelli print and just the window of the car from the white card, then glued this to the car. I stamped the flowers on another gelli print and cut them out. I used a piece of washi tape as the “road” for the car, then glued the car to the tag. I arranged the flowers around the edges and glued them down when I was happy with the layout. The edges are embossed with gold embossing powder. Finally I found a quote in my stash and glued this on too.

We hope that you will join in this month's challenge, and also join us on Facebook too.
We look forward to seeing your creations. Don't forget to add a comment when you have posted your entry.
Have a Happy Creative Month
Stay safe

And my needlewoman, is she rich too ? by Titbelsoeur

 Hello everybody !

Here is my second project to meet the September challenge at The Artistic Stamper. The first one was  Is my tailor rich ? by Titbelsoeur, this one being the feminine version.

I have decorated another sardine can with the Dressmaking stamps, so that it looks the same as the masculine one, but not exactly the same !  Nevertheless, the techniques I have used are strictly the same. A focal point stamped in black on the background, then hidden when stamping the other parts, video here : Apart'thé

I stamped the dressmaker to a strong paper and cut it out, passed a thread between her 2 hands to be more realistic :) and then added lots of related stuff

And here are my 2 cans together :
