Winner of September's Challenge and a giveaway!

It's that time of the month again that I love, when I get to choose a winner of the blog challenge, and giveaway some stamps! This time I get to giveaway stamps to the winner and to one of you too! Birthday blog celebration candy!

Hello, and a very creative day to you. Because today is my birthday and because I am the Chief Stamper here at The Artistic Stamper, I have decreed that today is a

A Triple Distressing Blog Candy!

Hi, it's the Chief Stamper here again, and this time, I am bringing you goodies to win, and a little ATC as well!I thought it was high time we had a BIG giveaway on the blog, so I have up for grabs to one lucky winner a Set of WINTER DISTRESS inks!

You can also win this ATC which I made in honour of the blog candy....

I made it using the Playing Games embossing folder, and inked the ATC with Iced Spruce, then inked one side of the embossing folder with Festive Berries, and ran it through the die machine. It has the effect of giving a raised look with the rays of the folder in two different colours .. that is really hard to describe, but I am sure you know what I mean!
I added a little rosette, and edged it in Festive Berries, and painted a Philosophy tag with Watermelon Dabber, and wiped it off a few seconds after putting it on. It stays in the crevices.

A little tiny bit of Bakers Twine, and my ATC is ready for you to win!

It's time to celebrate!-edited

Today isa double whammy here on The Artistic Stamper Creative Team blog, as it is my own personal blogaversary, but also we have over 200 followers in just over a month. To say I am chuffed is an understatement! I am absolutely ecstatic, because I am guessing you love the gorgeous artwork being created here!
So to celebrate I am GIVING AWAY over £100 worth of goodies, including Tim's Compendium of Curiosities, a wooden bird to alter, a Sizzix Alteration, lots of Artistic Stamper stamps, Kling-On, a mini suitcase from my own stash,that is impossible to get anymore,grungepaper and some idea-ology.
Who knows I may even throw in more ( some of the new Sizzix dies are winging their way to me for delivery on Monday!*wink*). Actually if we have more than 100 comments I will add a new die.

A pint a day keeps the Stamper at Play!

It's the *Boss* here ( that's Hels nickname for me!) , getting to play for the first time on what is technically the Creative Team's blog! I have been reading all your comments and am so glad everyone likes what is going on!
I thought I would have a little play with the new bottle stamp, and used a piece of mountboard as base which is actually an orangey red, so no inking there! I stamped up the dogstooth background in black archival ( I actually never use any other ink...hangs her head in shame, and slinks away.....), and taking the bottle stamp inked it in ..black archival. I used a mixture of orange and yellow distress inks to colour it up, with the minutest blue in the middle.
The words are computer generated and distress inked too.

I found these wonderful unused milk bottle tops in an antique shop, and just had to have them. I alcohol inked the top, and actually I poured the ink over it so I didn't crush it with the felt tool, mind you if you look closely , it did get crushed a little... Finally I added the drinking straw, orange , of course, and glued it all together. A smattering of rock candy crackle paint on the bottle and the words finished it off.
