Mini Canvas Play by Gemma

Hello Everyone

I take a long break from any crafting over the holidays, and I often struggle to get going again creatively, I have been playing with the new stamps designed by Neil Walker. For my first post back on The Artistic Stampers blog, I made a bookmark using the border stamp of this stamp set. For this post, I have a small 4x4 canvas to share with you all.

I used the square heart stamp, Dylusion sprays, and PaperArtsy infusions to decorate the canvas along with scraps from on my table.

Something new for me this year, I have decided to try and made videos of my projects, below you will find my first one of this canvas. It's a work in progress and I was so nervous.

Thank you
Gemma

The Dragonfly

Hi all you gorgeous crafty folk out there in blogging crafty heaven!!!. I'm here again to share one of my makes, that actually just happened!!!, I was just messing about with the circles from the DECAY JOURNAL PLATE, and thought hmmmmmmm..."yes I like that"...so I added the DRAGONFLY WORDS, then thought...ooops...I've not taken photos of each step, oh well...there is only the dragonfly from the INSECTS AND BUTTERFLIES stamp set, sooooo....no point taking photos now it's nearly finished!!!. Something tells me I'm gonna be making this mistake a lot, cos I rarely have a specific idea in mind, and when I do, it never actually works out, soooo....just a lot of playing around. Like I say to my friends, crafting for me is 99.9% faffing...and 0.1% card making!!!!
Anyway, I hope you like my card, I do love butterflies and dragonflies so something tells me I'm gonna be using this stamp set a lot. I'm really loving seeing your entries in our "Anything Goes" challenge, and I look forward to seeing more of your fabulous makes.  Have a good crafty day. JANE x

Greeting cards by Titbelsoeur

Hello Happy Stampers !
To make these greeting cards, I have first  glued some pieces of books or magazines to a drawing paper. A slight coat of gesso with a credit card, and I added acrylic paint with my fingers :

I stamped dots and circles from Decay Journaling Stamps #1 Decay Swirl Background  and Borders A5 2 with white acrylic, Calligraphic Mat 1 and Calligraphic Mat 13 with black Archival ink :

I cut the paper in pieces to fit my black cards and added "Season's Greetings" from Christmas Greetings # 1 and "Happy New Year" from Christmas Greetings # 2 . I highlighted the first one with a white pen, and the second one with white acrylic on the top to figure snow and black on the bottom to highlight.

Neil Walker Bookmark by Gemma

This is my first post for The Artistic Stamper in 2018, and I would like to wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year.

I have been playing with one of the wonderful new releases from The Artistic Stamper. A fabulous square heart and border stamp set designed by Neil Walker and I have a bookmark to share with you all using the border stamp.

I stamped the border onto a piece of white cardstock using a black versa mark ink pad and heat embossed the image with black embossing powder.

Then I sprinkled some Infusions over the top, remember a little goes a long way. I dabbed some of the colour off using a bit of kitchen towel and then left it to dry, before trimming the cardstock to size.

To finish I matted the card onto a piece of black chipboard (I could not find my black card) and added some doodling with a white pen. To finish I added some ribbon and string to a hole made at the top.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my project

Believe in yourself by Angie

Happy new year everyone!

I don't know about you but once all the festivities are over and the new year has begun I often find myself in need of a little morale boost. So when I was trying to decide on what to do for this blog post I had the idea of a little tag with a positive message that I could hang near my desk.

To begin with I glued some pieces of old book pages and washi tape to a blank tag.

Next I painted the tag with yellow, orange, pink & white acrylic paint.

I added some stencilling using the Artistic Stamper Mini Masks as well as some more washi tape.

I stamped a heart using the Neil Walker Mini Heart stamp, some words using the Artistic Stamper Mini Journaling stamp and added some background stamping with one of the Artistic Stamper Mini Background Stamps. I also edged the tag with silver/pink embossing powder.

I adhered all the elements to the tag, added some black paint to make the colours pop, some more washi tape, white doodling and a gem on the heart, as well as some ribbon for hanging.

What better way to spend a Sunday morning!

Sending positive vibes to you all from a cold and dreary Kent!

Time to Dream with Lisa

Hello folks and welcome to my post for
The Artistic Stamper
January is an 'Anything Goes' month.
If you would like to join in with the challenge, here is the link to The Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blog.

Here is my creation...

First, I cut a piece of white card to 8" x 8" and inked the whole surface. I stamped the cross hatch stamp, from the Mini Backgrounds 3 stamp set, with clear ink along the bottom of the card. I applied clear embossing powder and heat embossed it. Then repeated on the opposite end of the card.

I then inked the whole surface of the card with a darker ink colour.

Next, I stamped the girl with clock stamp four times on to white card.
I fussy cut the whole image twice, then with the other two stamped images, I fussy cut the area with just the girl and her dress.

I inked the cut out stamped images with a brown and pink ink.

On the top clock layer I inked the whole surface with clear ink and added a triple layer of clear embossing powder to give a shiny surface to the clock.

To add some texture to the image, I adhered some Sisal in between the layers of the stamped images.

And I wanted the Sisal to replicate the textures and layers in the dress.

To finish, I stamped letters for the quote from the Decay Alphabet (lower case) stamp set on to white card and cut them out. I inked around each letter with the brown ink.

Here are the stamps from The Artistic Stamper I used to create this make.

MIni Backgrounds # 3 size A6 ( cut and mounted on cling cushioning )   Girl with clock 7cm x 10 cm (cut out and mounted on cling cushioning)   Decay Alphabet lower case size A5 (cut out and mounted on cling cushioning)

Thanks for popping by the blog today. If you would like to pop over to my blog to see my other creations the link is HERE.
Leave a comment if you wish, I love to read what you think.
Toodles for now,
Lisa x

Skeleton Leaves

Well...as the challenge for this month is "anything goes", I thought I would get on with making my friend her birthday card. While I was studying where to start...anything goes challenges really are a challenge for me!!!...I spied some lollipop sticks on my worktop, left over from a project I did a while ago, so I thought I would make use of them.
I started by taping four of them together and then stenciled texture paste through the SMALL DOTS MASK
then I went on to spritz it with different inks
while that was drying I stamped and embossed one of the SKELETON LEAVES and made a little "friend" tag with one of the many words from the FRAMED WORDS stamp set.I then added these to the lolly stick mat, with a bit of raffia and then added this to a card front mop up....mopping up the excess ink from spritzing the lolly sticks, with a piece of card.
I do hope you can join in with this months "Anything Goes" challenge, I look forward to seeing your entry.

As always, there will be candy for one randomly picked entrant - the winner will receive a stamp of their choice from The Artistic Stamper .

In addition, you can enter the same challenge on Facebook!

Titbelsoeur
This card is to wish you a very happy and creative year !

Just like I did last year, I have used the Decay stamps to make it :
Alphabet, upper and lower cases stamped and embossed,
and Journaling stamped with my Gelli Plate @ Gelli Arts®

Jennie
I have made an ATC to welcome in the New Year. I used Artifacts Daisy Chain, and white embossed it , and then added Distress Oxides over the embossing and wiped them off to reveal the white.
My new year's resolution is to use up some of my stash, so the numbers came from a packet of chip that I already had! Happy New Year to you xx

I made some Thank You cards to give to the kind people who bought me gifts for Christmas. I started by making an A4 masterboard using paints, the SMALL DOTS MASK, the CALLIGRAPHY MAT 12, and the GRID BACKGROUND stamps. I then cut my masterboard up into little squares and stamped the small butterfly from the INSECTS AND BUTTERFLIES stamp set and a thank you sentiment to finish off. Happy New Year to you all and Keeeeeeeep Crafting !!!

We hope that you will join in this month's challenge, and also join us on Facebook too.

We look forward to seeing your creations. Don't forget to add a comment when you have posted your entry.

Have a very creative  2018

Jennie xx
