Happy card by Sioux Jenneys

Hi Folks!

I've got an easy card to share with you today :)
With a couple of quick ways to use Distress Stains (on special offer this month here)

1. I usually use an ink blending tool and Distress Ink to colour any mats for my layers on a card but swiping the stains....broken china in this case.....on the edges of the mat is even quicker!!!

Don't forget to mop up that excess on the craft sheet on a spare piece of card....it makes the perfect starting point for another background ;)

2. Swipe dried marigold Distress Stain all over the main focal layer.
3. Ink up the lovely flower from Botanical Plate 1 using broken china Distress Stain and stamp.

5. Use a couple of offcuts from the Elegant Flourishes Sizzix die and cover with Ranger Distress Crackle Paint in tea dye....leave to dry and crack....always magic!
Then add a touch of diamond Stickles...which I am pleased to say shows really well on this image. :)

6. Layer up the mats....edging each layer with a black marker pen before adhering to the card.

7. Add a sentiment of your choice in the lower corner (in Archival coffee).

See you again soon ;)
xoxo Sioux

Neat, clean card there with an excellent choice of co-ordinating colours. Like the stickles on the swirl. Any gardening this week?
