All the ingredients are at the bottom in appropriate links :))
I used one of Tim's new Embossing folders , and layered sticky back foil onto some card and ran it through my Vagabond.
Then taking 3 or 4 or even 5 colours of alcohol inks, drip them gently onto the embossed gessoed card, and move them around with a cocktail stick, or similar until you get the desired effect. Remember alcohol inks dry quickly, so you need to work quite fast.
Once you have achieved your desired effect, dry with a heat tool. You can leave it like this or add some Archival ink on top to add depth. You can then sand it back a little if you like, and add more ink on top too.
I liked this technique as the Gesso will make the inks matte and not translucent if they were just on the metal alone(if that makes sense?)
I do hope you like my little technique of the month, and don't forget to tune in on Wednesday for some exciting news!
Have a creative day

Wow, this is brilliant. I love the idea of bright but not shiny!
That looks super Jennie !!
Great technique... I'm so looking forward to my first chance to play with alcohol inks (they're waiting for me back home). The opaque effect with the gesso is so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing it.
