Wet Wipe background by Gemma

We all use wet wipes to clean up after our very messy selves when we craft, and sometimes they end up the most beautiful colours. If you dry them out they can by used in so many ways here I have turned one into a background for a very simple card.

One dried out and beautiful wet wipe, Hmmmmm I wonder if I could ever get that deliberately

I then added some blue with a distress ink and the honeycomb mask. Over that, I stamped with different coloured distress ink, the honeycomb stamp and mini honeycomb stamp.

Then I added the word dream from the framed words set and some gems to finish.

Thanks for reading, I have loved seeing everyone's challenge entries this month and can not wait to see what next month brings

Accordian Book by Debs

 Hi everyone

Here is an accordion book that i started a few weeks ago, using Kraft Card and Distress Oxides.
this is the back, i tried to keep each page on this side orange and yellow in some way

this is the front which i tried to keep red and pink

I used a mix of papers and Kraft card adding stencilling and stamping with the Oxides

I gave myself a theme - one side is Butterflies and Dragon Flies.
Using loads of different stamps and masks

I have six pages on each side

I had fun mixing the stamps up and creating backgrounds using some of the new mini background stamps, they are great to use for smaller projects like this
Even the papers were stamped with background stamps

I do like the effect that Distress Oxide have on Kraft, you get great colour

As you may have guessed i do like a nice phrase or quote

Stamps used were a selection from Backgrounds
a selection from Florals and leaves
And assorted quotes from Words and Sayings

A little Dylusional by Debs

Hi Everyone

Sorry this post is a bit late, going to Harrogate for the weekend with Jennie, put me a bit behind. So i thought as i had learnt so much on Dyan's workshop, i thought it would only be fair to share one of those techniques with you.

I started by spritzing the page with water and then filling the page with Dylusions sprays
and using water through a stencil I added some ghosting.

I stamped the image from the Faces #2 Plate and then added a frame using Black Dylusions paint and then added more paint through assorted Artistic Stamper stencils.

I added some white pen around the outside of the shapes and flowers and added some doodling.  I also added some white and grey pencils to the main image, for definition.

Take care and happy crafting
Debs

Background card by Gemma

Sometimes you just feel the need to make a loud quick messy card and this was one of those times, I'm not sure if my hands will ever recover. They are a very pretty purple colour and they may stay that way forever.

I started by stamping two of the new mini background stamps onto watercolour card and heat embossing it with black embossing powder.

Then I sprinkled water reactive pigments onto the card and sprayed them with water.

I also did this on a piece of watercolour card I cut to fit my card blank.

Once everything was dry I edged all the pieces with gold before gluing them together. I then added colour in the same way to some hand cut leaves and a strip of card to add to the bottom of the card blank.

To finish I added some detail with black and white pens

Thanks for stopping by

Tiny cards by Titbelsoeur

Hello there !
To meet the April challenge at The Artistic Stamper, I have made tiny cards just a bit larger than the new mini background stamps, I guess my cards have the same size as ATCs.
I have made the 3 cards the same way : stamped background and stamped image and word, so that they look like a triptych :

I have used the following stamps :

Gemma

I am loving the fact it's starting to get warmer so I wanted to use warm pinks and oranges for my background. I used Neil Walkers heart stamp and mini background stamps.

I created a tag using the Distress oxides smooshed onto the tag, and also onto the card for the butterflies.I added touches of The Artistic Stamper backgrounds onto the tag. I used mini polka dots , floral open background and honeycomb. The butterflies come from Insects & butterflies 2

I created this journal page using Distress paint over Gesso. I used Distress Oxides through The Artistic Stamper masks. I then stamped and layered Family Values Stamps.

We hope that you will join in this month's challenge, and also join us on Facebook too.

We look forward to seeing your creations. Don't forget to add a comment when you have posted your entry.
