Large butterfly card by Titbelsoeur

Hello there !
here is a very simple card I have made with this fabulous Large Butterfly stamp. The stamp has so many thin details that the background doesn't need to be loaded, rather the opposite ! The lighter it is, the better !
Some watercolour brush trails, some spots, then stamp when dry and highlight with a white pen, and here it is :

I hope this card gives you inspiration to participate in our

Imagine it!

Hi, dear friends))
It's Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) here for you today.

If you think I'm going to share with you something related with Christmas or New Year, you are greatly wrong!

Like every year, I will prepare for these holidays exactly one day before their occurrence)))))

So today I am going to show a card, which is made to the birthday of my friend who has a very big plans for good luck!

I'm sure luck will be with him!

The main thing is to believe in yourself and allow yourself to "get lucky by the tail"...

Do you agree with me?

Among my stamps there was no an exclamation point. I decided that I could do it of the letter "I"...

In the following photo hard to see card, but it is clearly seen that the stamps adhered on three levels.

For this card I've used  Seaside No. 1 # 018  A5 set (as you see, you can color your stamp as you like!)

Have a nice day and always believe in luck!

Watercolor fruit cards

Hi, it's me, Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) here for you today.

As you know I like to use stamps not in scrapbooking or cardmaking (in the classic sense).

But I like to add stamps to my watercolors.

Sometimes the work looks unfinished, but I do not know what to do ...
Then the simplest solution might be to add a background stamp.
Here's the truth!

Be sure of it )))))

Don't you think it's too simple?
And now you can see the same picture, but with a slight modification - I added two stamps.

And here's another one the same:

And with the added stamps:

I believe that you can see everything without my words and explanations)))))

By the way, here stamps that I have added:

Don't paint things

Hi)

It's me, Maria Potapovich, here for you today.
Today I am not alone - I came with little card).

It's made for the artist.
You know, it's hard to come up with a wish for the artist - everything seems small and insignificant in comparison with the art.

So I've made a card on which are written Henri Matisse's words (slightly modified)  - "I do not paint things. I only paint the difference between things".

As it turns out, it's easy enough to illustrate these words - I only need one stamp from the Botanical Plate 2 (A5) set

Here it is:

I only put three times the stamp (leaf), carved them, painted the different watercolors on both sides and attaching them with the help of 3D-foam squares.

I think card turned minimalistic and creative.

What do you think?

Simple card - Flower power

Good day))
Here is Maria Porapovich (mellpellmell) for you today)

Today I want to share with you another one of my simple card.

As always, lately I've been trying very much to make a card as easy as possible - fewer layers, fewer parts, but more sense, more effect...

At this time, the only distinguishing this card from the remaining cards with flowers the detail - this vase. It is made in the simplest way - from a rectangular piece of paper - folded and glued.
It is the vase which I put a flower in.

Looking closely, you will see that the flowers are painted using watercolors, colored pencils and gouache pens, and there are few drops of acrylic paint appeared on the card's background.

I've used the Botanical Plate 1 (A5) stamp for creating this card.
Isn't it lovely?)))

Thanks for visiting us today and will see you next time! <3 <3 <3

Bloom card by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

Hi, it's me (Maria Potapovich, mellpellmell) here for you today))

As you know, I'm adherent of stamps)))
But I also love the watercolor paints. I like to use it for it's intended purpose))

This time to create the card I took the watercolor and kraft paper, stamps, ink, watercolor, pens  and, of course, a pair of scissors)))

Having in the arsenal stamps like these it is easy to create the illusion a good ability to draw)))

I added a rough line, made with a pens, to slightly reduce the effect of "art", which appeared by the addition of watercolor to the stamp's image.

In this card I've used Botanical Plate 2 A5 and  Journaling Mini Words #1

I think this sufficiently minimalistic card, with a touch of "art" is a bit rustic but quite elegant...isn't it?
