Crystal Encrusted Flourish Chest by Dee

Hi everyone Dee here with a encrusted chest that
I have made out of various techniques.
I started with putting modelling paste in the middle and
corners of the box.
Once a skin had formed on the modelling paste I used the
flourish from the ornate 2 plate to stamp
into the paste.
I used silver sequins from my stash to embed in the modelling
 paste.
Next I covered it all with white gesso followed by
crackle paint on the lid sides.
Deco arts prussian blue hue was painted on in washes
till happy with the result.
A mix of silver, pewter, white & turquoise embossing powders
was used to add extra interest.
White embossing powder was sprinkled over to add
to the contesting colours.
I triple embossed the flourish into melted embossing
 powder.
A close up.
Another showing micro beads that I applied around the
corner and the base of the box.
Thats all for today thank you for popping by.
Cheers Dee x

Adventure - Tag by Shilpa

Hello Everyone,
Shilpa here,

I've created this mixed media tag with Artistic stamper Dragonfly stamp and Decay swirl background stamp.

here are step out

I applied Prima modeling paste on the tag with my palette knife. Before it dry, I took out my swirls stamp, spritzed water on it and stamped into the paste, it gave this fab texture design. Let it air dry completely.

Next, I spritzed Peacock feather and cracked pistachio distress sprays randomly on the surface.

When the surface was dry, I stamped text and texture with few of Artistic stamper stamps and archival inks.

Further I stamped dragonfly and fuzzy cut it. I created layered background for it with burlap, tag, Tim's tissue paper. Attached brad onto the dragonfly for more interest.

Hope you liked my tag and got inspired.
Thanks so much for stopping  by.

Flowers are stamped with Jet black archival ink and coloured with Cracked Pistachio Distress stain.
I did some text stamping in the background for more interest.

Here is the final look of my mini canvas.

Rustic Tag by Shilpa

Hello Everyone,
Shilpa here,
Today I would like to share with you a tag...which is the theme of July challenge at Artistic stamper

I've used here Bird stamp from Artistic Stamper Birds of a Feather set,  AS Calligraphy mat 13, AS Free as a bird set.

I've small step by step for this tag,

I chose thick chipboard to make this tag. To start with I applied thick layer of modelling paste and stamped on it with AS Calligraphy mat text at one corner. On other corner I used stencil and modelling paste. Let it dry completely.

For base, I applied black gesso. It looks exactly like this..somewhere you will find the texture. :)

As I wanted rustic look, I applied distress paints - Gathered Twigs, Antique Bronze, Pine needles, cracked Pistachio with dry brush.

To highlight texture, I gently applied Inka gold old silver on raised area.

this is a close up view.

I stamped the bird with black archival ink and colored it with watercolors.
Leaf stamp is from AS Botanical plate2, which I stamped with distress paint, fussy cut it.
Frame is from Tim Holtz industrial stickers

Are you liking it? Do let me know !! :)

And don't forget to participate in our monthly challenge to win fabulous stamps from Artistic stamper.
