Star Card By Gemma

I love this card and tag, it combines everything I like, stamping, stenciling, Distress Inks, Stars and using Gesso to mask/ push back areas.

 Steps

1- Pick three colours of Distress Ink, Spread each colour on a mat separately and spray with water, press the card stock into the ink. Dry each colour before adding the next.

2- Using the same colours of ink stamp different sized star stamps over the card.
3- Using a star stamp add a couple of dark brown or black stars.

4- Using a star mask and a white pen draw in stars.
5- Paint over the rest of the piece of card with a thin layer of Gesso carefully painting around the stars that have drawn in with the white pen.

6- Doodle around the edge of the card and the stars with a black pen and glue to a card blank.
7- Draw and cut a star from the leftover card, stamp a word onto the star and glue it to the card over a strip of black cardstock and inked paper.

The family is a little home.

I have a wonderful stamp with collage - it illustrated happy family and relevant inscriptions ...

Despite the fact that the stamp is good in itself, I wanted to make with it something interesting, but better - something a bit philosophical.

Therefore, this image appeared on the big house, made of gypsum.
As well as butterflies began coexist with this family - as if hinting at ease and a wonderful family atmosphere.

To make the background a little more interesting, I added to it the structural paste, in which I've put the stamp "Stars", as well as a little spray of vintage colors.

And so a great decoration for the home is ready!

Due to the design features, it is not too heavy, but it looks very imposing)))))

And, sorry, one more photo)))))

I hope you liked the idea of a large decoration for home)

See you)
And have a good day!

Creative life card by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

Hi)))
It's me, Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) here for you today!

I am here for the first time, so I have to explain something.

I love everything associated with paper, brushes, paints, stamps, ink, stencils, scissors ...
Well, you get my point ...

I do different projects, but today I want to share with you just a small postcard.
At first glance, it is quite simple. Let's be honest:  at second glance everything is the same)))

At the beginning I suggest you watch the video, and then I'll tell you the details. Ok?

Just want to tell you that I've used these stamps:

Star Background 2 A6

Journaling Mini Words #1

Now let's talk about the process)))

1. So, first I made the background using a stencil "honeycomb", ink (distress/fired brick) and sponge.

2. Then I added the stars, putting the stamp mark with star background stamp and ink (distress/black soot).

3. When the background was "a half ready", I sprinkled a little water (just with my wet hands) and then added a little splash of white ink.

4. Then I outlined the hexagons on the right side with a black pen.

5.  And finally I glued two printed and  crookedly cut words on 3D foam squares.

6. The End))) Card is already ready! Nothing more to write here!)))

I hope you enjoyed this simple card made for one very creative person! ;)

Have a nice day!
