Hope you are liking our challenge theme this month- Tag. I've seen some fabulous entries already....

you still have time to join in the fun to win some exciting stamps from Artistic stamper.

I would like to share my second post for this month with tag.

I incorporated tags in my journal page.

I've used floral stamps from Botanical plate 1

Random dots background stamp and  Calligraphy Mat stamp.

To start with I adhered tag and textured papers, washi tapes, tissue papers on my page. I gave base coat of thin gesso. Next I applied acrylic paints and inks, spritzed water to allow them to spread. Dried them completely with Ranger Heat tool.

For texture, I used stencil and Prima modelling paste, at some places it took colors from background. To highlight them I used Inka Gold. I stamped texture with text and random dots.

I prepared two more tags which are stamped with Artistic Stamper flowers. I colored them with Big Brush pens.

Farewell of MarIa Potapovich (mellpellmell).
Hi to all of you, mellpellmell is here for you today.

And today I'm going to tell you not only "hi", but "Goodbye"...
...because this post  is the last one that I have created as an official member of the ASC design team.

I'm a little sad, but so sometimes it happens ...

It was very interesting - to be here with you and work with wonderful stamps. In spite of my forgetfulness, Jennie has always managed to keep me in the plan (well, almost always) - special thanks to her for understanding, patience and organization! You're just a miracle!

And, of course, thank Jennie for her generosity and clear leadership, and the opportunity to work with her fantastic stamps.
I consider myself very lucky that I had this privilege - to be in such a wonderful team of designers.


Today I want to make a small flash-back - let us see with me, how that time has passed for me, and what work has appeared in the meantime.

So...

The first thing I would like to remember once again with you - it is a regular notebook.

  And as you see - I've used just a single stamp to decorate it:

Do you know I like  watercolor and ink drawing?
And  I like to add stamps to my watercolors.
I've used the Encyclopedia Botanica stamps set  again:

Mmmmm... Mixed-media. Yes, it's one of the greatest style, I think...

I've used Journaling Mini Words stamps set to make this card.


 This philosophical image are adhered on the big house, made ​​of gypsum.

Hello Everyone, 

Shilpa here, with Spring creation today.

As always I've used lots of Artistic stamper stamps here.

I've used  Prima Finnabare mixed media paper in the background. Onto that second layer is stamping map with Artistic Stamper Europe map image. I've used Distress paints Victorian Velvet, Vintage Photo and Broken china to color the surface randomly. I've also stamped dots with Random Dots Background stamp and Coffee Archival Ink/ Distress Paints

Butterfly stamp is from Artistic stamper Neil Walker design collection.

These leaves are stamped and cut to create layers under floral spray. I've used Artistic stamper Botanical Plate 1 and 2 for this.

For text, I've used  Artistic stamper Calligraphy Mat 12 and 20

Lots of flowers and greenery ...

Girls in the garden. Butterflies and birds are their neighbors.

Rhinestones and white paint add a little "dew" in the garden.

Of course, this garden will be stored under the transparent cover - so to speak "behind the fence".)))

Simple card - Flower power

Today I want to share with you another one of my simple card.

As always, lately I've been trying very much to make a card as easy as possible - fewer layers, fewer parts, but more sense, more effect...

At this time, the only distinguishing this card from the remaining cards with flowers the detail - this vase. It is made in the simplest way - from a rectangular piece of paper - folded and glued. 
It is the vase which I put a flower in.

Looking closely, you will see that the flowers are painted using watercolors, colored pencils and gouache pens, and there are few drops of acrylic paint appeared on the card's background.

I've used the Botanical Plate 1 (A5) stamp for creating this card.

Flower Mixed Media Tag Book

Today I am sharing with you a 'Flower Tag Book' which I've created with many beautiful floral stamps from Artistic stamper.

Wear your shades and get ready for bright colours!!

It all started with lovely flower stamps. And I wanted to use many, so I opted for Tag book instead of single tag. I made it with different sizes of Manila tags. There are three signatures inside with two pages each.

Lets see the pages...

On each page I spritzed different colours of Dylusion Inks. Stenciled patterns with white acrylic paints and stamped the images with Ranger black archival inks. Process was simple. And I kept it uniform.

A Journey is measured in Friends

Hope you loved the theme of our June challenge and linked up your beautiful projects here. If  you have not yet... I brought you bit of inspiration,

I started off with thick chipboard 8*10" which I gessoed first. To create the texture I stamped the Calligraphic Mat 4  and  Random dots on the tissue paper with  Black Archival Ink. And adhered it on the surface. And gessoed again to push it in background.

I blended Peacock feather, Tumbled glass, Stormy sky and Picket fence Distress paints and sprayed water to get the colour on, as I was trying to make it blue sky. Allowed it to dry thoroughly with my heat tool. For some more texture I used Crafters workshop spinning tops stencil and peacock feather distress ink. I stamped circles with white acrylic paint randomly on the background.

I stamped these small green branches at the edges with Katy Leitch's  Botanical plate2  stamp set and Fern Green Archival ink  Aren't they lovely?

 At the bottom corner, I stamped  with small flower from  Botanical plate1 and Staz on Blazing Red and coloured them more with PIIT pens

And these beautiful butterflies are from New Neil Walker stamp collection at Artistic stamper. I stamped them with same Blazing red Staz on ink. I also applied Mod Podge and sprinkled Clear Rock Candy distress glitter. I've taken this photo in sun, hope you can see the shimmer.

And finally added these words from Traveling stamps set.
