He[art] Journal page by Ttibelsoeur

Hello happy Journalers, how are you doing ?
It was great to use these Artistic Stamper stamps to make a new art journal page.

The page was not blank in first place : I have gathered many monoprinted pages to make a new art journal. Hence the first layer, gelliprinted with Bamboo Open Texture Mat C156 © CaroLines
The second layer was made with the new Mini background stamps and assorted Distress inks. Then I stamped Decay forms and steampunk border from Borders A5 2 on the edges with black Archival ink. Some white marks made with white acrylic paint on bottle caps, and the background was done.

Then I stamped the 2 Inspiration Jars with black Archival Ink on a separate drawing paper, already colored with Distress Ink Pads (Mustard seed, Spiced Marmalade and Broken China), I added the new Mini Heart © Neil Walker on the blank jar, highlighted some details with a white pen, cut both out and glued both on my page.

I was just missing a title 😅... easy peasy, found it in the Journaling section !

Greeting cards part 1 by Titbelsoeur

Don't be late with your greeting cards ! start making them right now !
And take the opportunity to make them with the brand new Christmas stamps from The Artistic Stamper

To make both cards, I have stamped the Snowflake Background with Distress ink sprayed with water, and then the sentiment and Santa from the Christmas Reindeer Size A5 with Archival Ink, on a watercolor paper. Then I cut it out and sticked it on bazzill paper :

Honey jar by Titbelsoeur

HI there, are you ready to participate in our monthly challenge ? Do you want to win some stamps from the Artistic Stamper ?

I have made personal stickers with these fabulous new stamps : Honeycomb background and Bees.

I have used a book page I have distressed with Wild Honey and Spice Marmelade Distress inks, then I have stamped the bee and honeycomb with Vintage Photo ink, on the top :

and on the "sticker". I also used the M I E L letters from the Decay Stamps so that people who haven't figured it know it is honey in it :)

Butterflies on my page...

Hello there, this is Titbelsoeur today sharing an art journal page with you.

First, I have distressed the page with Brushed Corduroy, then glued a very old school book page on it :

I made my own masking tapes, stamping cogs and watches background stamps on to a piece of tape :

and sticked them to my page, adding a piece of a used tea bag :

A coat of gesso, then I stamped Treillis and Dots backgrounds and added brown shadows here and there with a watercolor chalk and a wet paintbrush :

Then I stamped butterflies on to the background with water-based ink and made them a bit blur in adding some water with a paintbrush which also spread the watercolor below :

I did the same with the central butterfly I stamped on a white paper, slightly blured and cut out :

And here is my page :

Here are the stamps I used :
Butterflies
Encyclopaedia Botanica
Treillis Background
Watches Background
Dots Background
Cogs Background

Not my usual! by Nicky Cresswell

Good day to you fine stampers, I am back again but this time with something a little different.
Now It's taken me a little while but I am finally getting into the whole journaling thing.
So when Jennie shared that she was launching new journaling stamps I was over the moon and couldn't wait to get my inky mits on them.
And this is what i came up with.
I started with an uneven coat of traditional tan claudine hellmuth studio paint, once dry I washed over a coat of broken glass distress stain. I then added a smidge of picket fence distress stain just running across the center of the page.
I stamped the 3 circles from the swirls, splats and dots plate across the center in black archival ink, and edged the whole page using one of the splats from the same page.
I finished with the words Happy which was taken from the Journaling words plate and the Creative with is from the massive create art thought phrase {but I cut them as separate words as there such a nice size they can work on there own} As one last finishing touch I gave a couple of the circles a mini crown which I punched out of black soot core'dinations card {which is still on offer HERE}
And there you have it.
So don't be afraid any more, Get out your inks and paint and stamps and just have fun.
If I can do it you can too.
Thanks for stopping by x
