Fabric, again... by Titbelsoeur

Hello happy sewers... and the others !
I love to see fabric books but have always thought that I am not gifted at making some.
Maybe you remember the one I made 2 years ago, they are here :

Ladies album part 1 by Titbelsoeur and here : Ladies Album part 2 by Titbelsoeur

And today I am doing it again, I love challenges ! And the November challenge at the Artistic Stamper being simply "fabric", I have started to make a new one. Quite different... fall colours... fall theme, for the moment...
You have seen the first page on the monthly challenge post, and here is a second one :

Just like I did on the other page, I have stitched fabric pieces and a half-zip all around the page, and stamped the Florence's Flowers stamp from Debbie Cotton, and the Free Your Soul words  from Donna's Stamps on the old bed sheet that supports the fabric sheets.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
your comments are very much appreciated,
here, on my blog, or on the Artistic Stamper's Facebook page.

To make the background, I have glued paper squares on to my page, coloured it with yellow and stamped Decay Swirl Background and Swirl Background Open from Backgrounds with Distress ink to have a smooth background.

Then I stamped Decay Journaling Stamps #1 and Decay Alphabet from Journaling, text from Time and Keys in Time and the butterfly from Butterflies #2 in Butterflies & Birds, all  with black Archival

The Blossom stamp from Debbie Cotton I stamped on to a cardboard and scraped it, then coloured it with Promarkers and sticked it to the background :

Altered Art Journal Cover

Hello Everyone,
Shilpa here,

I love to play in my art journal and every now and then I start new journal with different sizes.
Today, I've altered the journal cover which had black cover, I turned it into Shabby chic.
Let's have a look...

I've used Artistic Stamper Blossoms Large stamp.

I first adhered Ranger Sticky back canvas to my art journal cover. Next I applied Spun sugar and Victorian Velvet distress paints on the surface. I dried it completely with Heat Tool. For text in the background I used  Artistic stamper Calligraphy Mat 13 and Tea Rose Archival Ink.

I created layers with Doily, Tag, lace, gauze and design paper.

At the right bottom corner I added ribbon bow and flowers.

I stamped this beautiful Blossoms large on watercolor paper with Coffee Archival ink and colored with Distress Paints and inks.

Hope you liked my today's Pink project!! Do let me know... :)

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Let's art journal in May by Titbelsoeur

Hello happy journalers !
You know that the May challenge at the Artistic Stamper is "Journaling your heART out!" and I have decided to make this page for you...

I started by gluing some pieces of "test" pages, this one to test Neil's stamp on to my home-made gelli plate :

or that one that was used to clean my A.S. Sequin mask up :

So here is the 1st layer background :

Some gesso here and there, then brown and green acrylic paint, with a brush or with a baby wipe through A.S. Sequin and Petals masks

Then stamps as backgrounds : car, alphabet soup, dots with black Archival

And to end, let's stamp words with black and brown Archival, paint some circles with a bottle cap and write some unreadable words in white and black, and here it is :

To make this page, I have used :
black and brown Archival inks
Large Sequin and Petals Artistic Stamper's masks
Dots background stamp
Neil Walker's alphabet soup and fantasy background
Debbie Cotton's Linington's automotive Sales
Journaling Words #5, Imagine 4.5 cm, Creative 4.5 cm and Journaling Words 3

Thanks so much for stopping by,
your comments are very much appreciated.
I hope you will participate in our May challenge

Sowing the seeds of loooove... by Titbelsoeur

HI there, this is Titbelsoeur singing for you today !
I have decided to decorate the envelopes I store seeds into, waiting for the right moment to sow them in my garden.

I have first painted the background, spraying ink and water on to my "magic" cutting board and then patting the envelopes down.

Then I have inked the fence background stamp with ink and then sprayed it with water too, here and there, to have this saturated look.

After that, I have stamped various stamps on each envelope with Plum archival ink.

And to finish, I have inked the edges of each envelope with the same ink.

I used :
Plum Archival ink
Rusty Hinge Distress ink
Distress reinkers

stamps :
Gardening stamps
Butterflies
Debbie Cotton's
Katy Leitch's
Travel stamps

A Vintage Motor

Hi everyone hope you are all well!  & enjoying the Easter weekend.
I have a vintage piece for you today.

I started with swiping distress paint vintage photo, gathered twigs
& walnut stain onto a craft mat and sprayed with
water from a mini mister.

I swiped my card through and paint and sprayed with the mini mister as I dried
it so the paints blended together. I sealed it all with a matt
medium.

I inked up the Debbie Cotton car stamp Earls Automotive with
Black onyx versafine & clear embossed it. Next I painted
the entire card bar the car with cream acrylic paint.

I used blended distress inks in the following colours vintage photo,
walnut stain & scattered straw to colour spare card stock.

Onto this I stamped images from the following stamps winged wheel &
numerical plate. The numbers were stamped in
archival ink cornflower blue.

The clock was an old one I had done previously from the
Time & keys plate that had been covered in glossy
accents and a curtain ring was attached.

I used ripped pages & glued them to the main image. I used two die cuts
which I stamped with the ruler stamp of the Empemera plate
and I used this to frame the project.

I backed it all onto ripped cardboard that I had swiped walnut stain
paint. Please let me know what you think.
Cheers Dee x

Let's start making our season's greetings cards

Hello there, this is Titbelsoeur showing you today my very first Christmas card of the year !
I have made the background with this amazing tool I will demonstrate at my Nov. 11 workshop, then I have stamped the Special Deliveries stamp on it with Plum Archival.
Merry Christmas was stamped on a kraft junk envelope and torn :

On the back, I glued the Steampunk Santa that was stamped on wrapping tissue to keep transparency, and I added my signature on the Hand stamped mark.

Isn't it an easy peasy card to do ? I hope you will enjoy it and want to make a lot of same ones !
Anyway, thank you so much for stopping by, I can't wait to read your comments !
See ya,
