Love card by Titbelsoeur

Hello there,
Today I am sharing a card with you. I have made the background with the new fabulous square stamp Neil Walker Heart Square & Border
coloured with watercolours here and there to have a blurry heart. On top of it, I have stamped the hearts from the border with blue ink. Then added a few drops of black and white acrylic paint.
I stamped the sentiment from Grungy Greetings #1 with 3 different inks and highlighted it with a white pen.
As a final touch, I have added the Mini Heart © Neil Walker stamped on another paper.

My picture is not very good, sorry about that but we have had such an ugly weather these last weeks that I could not take it with sun light...

Butterfly Flutterby Card by Gemma

I have a 8x8 thank you card to share with you all today. A little bit of inspiration for this months challenge 'A little bit of colour', I have used a limited colour pallet and embraced my white space (a little). There is still time to join in the challenge this month for your chance to win.

I cut a piece of card to fit my card blank and stamped one of the wonderful butterflies from the butterflies stamp plate in the upper right corner using a Candied Apple Distress Oxide pad. I then sprayed the ink with water and stood the card up so the ink would drip down the card.

After drying the ink, I stamped randomly over the whole card with the same stamp and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide. After spraying the ink with water and allowing it to drip, I dabbed away some of the ink as I wanted these butterflies to be incomplete and the fade into the background. After drying I deciced to add very small amounts of yellow ink in places.

Using bits of scrap card my mask areas off I stamped the plaid background stamp using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide over the top.

Once all my ink was dry I added some washi take and stamped the words thank you. I painted the letters with a white paint pen, which I outlined with a black pen. Then it was time to doodle on and around the butterfly with black and white pens.

Thanks for stopping by

Galaxy cards by Titbelsoeur

Hi there, hope you have a wonderful Summer time.

To make these cards, I have followed tutorials on YouTube showing how to make Galaxy painting with watercolor. This is a very nice process and you can never fail it, which is quite a pretty good thing, isn't it ?
And I am done with my backgrounds, I use the Artistic Stamper's word stamps to make beautiful cards I will send to my friends, either for their birthday, or simply to say Hello !
I have used stamps from the Grungy Greetings #1 A6  plate, but you will find many others in the words-and-sayings section.

A summer wall hanger by Titbelsoeur

Take a LP record, blue and white acrylic paint, a small size gelli plate, some seashells... AND stamps from The Artistic Stamper, and let's go !
First apply paint on the gelli plate to ink the umbrella from  Seaside No. 1 A5and stamp it here and there on the record :

Then, apply white and blue again on the gelli pate and stamp Marbled Background #3 C128 © CaroLines on it, then stamp it on the paper, and apply the plate on another paper, to choose your background. When chosen, cut a circle in it and stamp seahorse and seashells on it, and then the sentiment from Grungy Greetings #2 A6). Then stick it on the circle.

And you may now decorate it with shells, cut corks, string, etc...

Grunge card by Titbelsoeur

Hello happy stampers,
Here is my first make for May, and I am happy to share this grunge card with you !

The support is made with a torn piece of an old LP vinyl record cover, folded in 2 and "sealed" by a ribbon, since the idea is to send it as a mail art (not inside an envelope, then). I have covered it with gesso for a grunge look.
I have used a bit of paper formerly stamped with Alphabet Soup Background & Border size A6 ©Neil Walker
The flower is a cut out piece of the Floral Open Background with 2 Free Flower stamps
And on the big green paper, I have made marks with gesso with a milk bottle cap, then stamped big hugs and kisses from Grungy Greetings #1 A6
To be fully grunge, I have stapled all papers to the support.
I will then write the recipient's name and address with a white pen and stick my stamp somewhere... maybe on the flower, although it is stapled... not sure yet...

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hi there,
How about showing you another tag to help you participate in our March challenge ?
This one is built the same way as the previous one you have seen here : March's Creative Challenge - Springtime
Thank you tag

The background is made of gelli printed butterflies. Then I have stamped flowers and sentiments with tone-on-tone ink, and highlighted the "thank you" with a white pen. The support is a cereal box painted with black gesso.

Tick Tock Birthday Card by Debs Smith

Happy New Year everyone

I have done a birthday card for you today! Its nice and bright and cheerful to take my mind off the miserable grey weather we have here at the moment!

The background is brayered and to see how i achieved the look read on.  The flowers and the sentiment were stamped on a mop up sheet.

I started with a piece of white card and bartered a small amount of Fresco Finish Mahogany to cover the card

I then applied Terracotta and Tangerine Twist over the top of the Mahogany.  At this point i wasn't quite sure if it was quite the colour i was looking for so i took the Snowflake

and covered the whole thing with white to knock the colour back a tad
I then added Bouganvilla over the top of the white in places and it was starting looking so much brighter
I had used a spare piece of card to mop up the excess paint with some water expecting to put it in my stash for future use.  I have just noticed a red indian in the paint  wish i had seen it before!!

I then stamped tick tock flowers with black Archival onto the mop up sheet and cut them out using two of the large flower and one of the small.
I then added some background stamping to the main piece by using the number stamp from  the Family Values plate and then stamped one of the flourishes from the Swirls and Splats plate these would be under the flower so it didnt matter that they hadn't lined up completely
I added the flower onto the top of the flourish and popped a button from my stash on the top and then stamped Happy Birthday from the Grungy Greetings plate onto another piece of the mop up sheet.

Added this piece to a white card and voila!!

Thanks for popping over and i am looking forward to seeing all of your entries this year!

Distress Birthday Card by Debs

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all enjoying this months challenge, I know I am.

I started this card believe it or not with a piece of gold card - the gold card i used wasn't quite mirri board, but that works equally well with this technique

Emboss - i used a Tim Holtz embossing folder but any will do.  Then the fun starts

Cover with dark paint as i had used a gold background i opted for Ground Espresso Distress Paint.  If i had used Silver Mirri board i would have used black paint or black gesso.  Work the paint into all of the grooves with your finger

When you are happy with the coverage get a piece of kitchen roll and wipe the paint off - yes really!!

Once you have wiped the paint off this is what you are left with

Here is a piece of the original card next to the painted and embossed piece as you can see its completely changed the colour and texture of the card, i promise it really was the same piece.

I used two more pieces one i just wiped over with the Ground Espresso Paint but guess what I forgot to take the photo of that one!!  This one i wiped the paint on and then with a piece of scrunched up kitchen roll dabbed it into the paint and got this lovely stippled texture.

I distressed all of the edges with a distress tool and inked up with Ground Espresso Distress ink  I also painted a couple of pieces of white card with Shabby Shutters Distress Paint and stamped one piece with the Phineas Pinchbeck Stamp and Happy Birthday from the Grungy Greatings plate twice onto another and again edged the same way.

Then mounted all of the layers together with foam tape stuck to a cream card again edged with Distress Ink.

Looking forward to seeing your creations on here and on Facebook and don't forget to let me know what you think by leaving a comment.
Happy Creating

Lots of love card, by Titbelsoeur

Hello happy crafters !
Have you already posted your participation in our February challenge ?
If not, maybe you need some inspiration to do so ?
Let me show you my first HeART card of this month :

I have used a gelli plate to make the background, started applying blue and white acrylics with a brayer, then stamping splats from Swirls, Splats and Dotsinked with water to make ghost prints, and a torn paper to save place for the sentiment.
After that, I sticked the torn paper to stamp Neil Walker's Fantasy 2 border with Barn Door Distress ink, and his large heart with Broken China Distress ink :

Then I removed the torn paper, stamped the sentiment from Grungy Greetings in Words and sayings with Black Archival. Since this part appeared too white to me, I added a little Distress ink with a watercolor paintbrush :
Then I stamped these lovely Small but Beautiful Birds that you will find in the New Stamps section

Lots of love, by Titbelsoeur

Hello, Happy Crafters, and happy new year to you and people you love !

I have made these 2 cards with Gelatos, on the "red" one I have stamped the "empty" Lesley's flower with black Archival ink and colored it with Promarkers, then I colored the "full" flower with Gelatos, spritzed it and stamped it all around the card. Then I stamped the sentiment with Plum Archival ink.

I made the "blue" card differently : I first colored the background with Gelatos and diluted it with water, then I stamped the flowers and colored them with Promarkers, and to end I stamped the sentiment and the butterfly with black Archival ink, and added lines and circles with black acrylic paint on caps and credit card.

Here are the stamps I used to make these 2 cards :
Lesley's Flowers in New Stamps
"Lots of love" from Grungy Greetings #1 in Words and sayings
Butterfly from Encyclopaedia Botanica in Katy Leitch
